Best version ever. This forte at 02:15 makes me cry every time.
Semplicemente straordinario! Tempo, respiri, fraseggio, intensità, tensioni e distensioni, attacchi (min. 2:02). Ascoltate, e osservate, che cosa riesce a "cavare" un grande direttore - che più "sinfonico" non si può - da un repertorio così specialistico, con buona pace dei "puristi" barocchi...
Sir Rattle, What a conductor...
Excellent !
BRAVO!!!!!!!!!
Cambridge is perfection as usual...
But You Folks, I Think This Performance Might Be BETTER!!!!!
Better than perfection. ( :
BRAVOOOOO!!!!! Again.
And Blessings to you all..The blessing and GOODNESS!!! of Christ.
Incredible, especially the resounding basses.
My nose burns with tears... Absolutely amazing.
A message from Heaven! How wonderful! Mille Grazie, Maestro Lotti.
Who would have thought that Rattle was such a great choral director. Oh, and WOW, the basses sound beautiful on the final chord. The rest goes without saying.
No doubt prepared by the Choral Master. :-)
Yes, Simon Halsey - see notes above.
Yes. Basses were outstanding. Haha
Yes.
And musical precision and Spirit... was ALSO outstanding.

Very good. Real test singing this in mixed formation.
beautiful...!
Love this piece. You should also check out this singer signing all 8 parts!! @
So..amazing:)
Un suono barocco e un gesto sinfonico: la musica esce fuori dal tempo...
Es cierto.saludos

Without a doubt, the best version on the net. If you want a treat, check out Cantique DeJean Racine with paavo jarvis conducting
Congratulations. An English translation of the Latin text, please.
Basses are singing the wrong note when the baritone comes in in the beginning. It's an e natural not an e flat
Ha well spotted.. the whole thing is sung slightly sharp from 440 as well
Seconda practica.

Bach and Handel copied from Lotti. Lotti is more sophisticated than both. Bach gets billions of CZcams views. Poor Lotti. Your melodic tonality surpassed that of Bach and Handel. And you were relegated to the dustbin of history. How disgusting. Leo Depuydt (Brown University)
Oh, screw Lotti and Brown University, hotbed of snobs.
Lovely. My favourite version.
