Thankyou for the comment. Unfortunately that's only possible on a few places where we are as laws are restrictive. DC Unplugged here on CZcams does a speed run around a closed track. It would be worth checking out his channel.
I live in a remote community in FNQ, and I have hit 70km. It handled off the road really well, and no wild dog pack was able to catch it. 😅

The predator will be available again soon. Keep an eye on bike scooter city's website for info. As for this or the lightning. That's a tough question. I haven't been able to test the predator as I'm waiting on a secondary code to fully unlock the scooter. When I have that I will give it a good test. I love the lighting it's my most fav scooter to date. I'd lean towards the lightning for its ride and all round awesomeness but it doesn't have some wave controllers like the predator does. The makuta 10plus is closer to the lighting in power and ride

No I don't have a maxfun scooter. I have had a dragon lightning which I put PMT tyres on and it was unbelievable
Hi Andrew, Is there a way to turn down the acceleration on the Predator? It's way too easy to spin the wheels at the moment.
Hi there. There is a soft to hard setting which is p10 but the manual says this is not functioning and during my testing I found it didnt make much difference if any.
Using your gear makes a difference. I usually ride around in gear 2 for general riding. The throttle isn't as punchy but it still gives good top speed. Less front wheel spin too

It sure does. I have backed the suspension off as much as I can to make it softer as I'm a lighter rider and it's amazing.
Just got told from a friend who owns a predator after a solid 2 hours off-road that they handle it with ease.
Awesome looking electric scooter 👍but I don't get the yellow?I don't remember any yellow on predator green maybe for the predator blood.
Still looks amazing though
I decided to buy one of these early next year because it can carry up to 150kg.

Whats the AH looking like? And ip rating?
Hi there. It's a 60v system running a 25.2ah battery. As for ip rating it's not listed. Not many scooter manufacturers give an IP rating. This one however can handle being caught out in the rain but it's still not advised to ride in rain
Are the batteries easily removable / replaceable?
The battery pack is easy enough to remove.

What brand is the battery?
For this model escooter it's a generic brand but with a grade cells. These batteries have proven to quite reliable across the dragon range
$2200 I was told yesterday at BSC.

No where near it. This one is a ground up build unlike no other. Mukuta is from the vsett family.

Are dragon scooter rebranded and if so who manufactures them?
There's a few scooter manufacturers that use rebranded scooters. It's cheaper for them to produce something that has already had the design process done.
Dragon have used a few companies in the past like langfettie, bouyeda and the lastest being joyor with the Slayer. This one however isn't a rebrand. Dragon have gone all out and made this as a ground up build like they did on the lightning V1 and V2. Others may copy this but dragon have designed this one.
@@f.cscootriders thanks for the information I'm definitely going with a dragon scooter my colleague has the dragon raptor and I been looking at the dragon slayer to get because their in my price range and my desired speed, but now I might save up a little more for the lightning v2, thanks for the information.
@@PlayingWithWilson lightning v2 is my all time favourite scooter. However it is being challenged by the Makuta. The base model Makuta is cheaper and it packs a very similar punch and ride to the lightning. Makuta is a smoother acceleration curve too

They aren't that much. Bike scooter have them at $2499 Australian dollars on their website at the moment. Battery cells are "a" grade cells.

@@KingK1. Anhui Chaoli Electronic Technology Co. So a Chinese company. I can tell you that dragon do source the best a grade cells for this type of battery. Some Chinese brands of batteries that get used in cheaper scooters are not the best batteries

Yes. These are an excellent upgrade to the GTRv2 they built tough like the GTR but heaps better in suspension power and handling. Well worth it if you are thinking of something new

Thanks for the feedback. This unboxing was literally straight out of my mates vehicle and film. Very raw first impressions. I was away to excited to be the first to inbox this beauty. Plus my video set up is pretty basic but it's something I'm working on improving. Lucky the predator is a good bit of kit though

And I'd suggest putting 500kms on it before backing a dragon product up. Not even 400kms on my gtrv2 and it's almost ready for the bin. Not just that, but customer service/support from BSC is appalling. Did you know they buy most of their 5 star reviews? Wish I'd seen the real reviews before purchasing. Post an aftermath video after 500kms please.
@@cobsy4life never had a problem with any of my dragons and I've owned 3 and had the pleasure of riding many more. Sure things can go wrong. Sounds like you and a bad run and that not good. Doesn't mean every one is bad. The ride review will come soon and I'm very certain these are going to be as impressive as they look

Yes possibly a bad run, also possibly bad luck with a dud scooter however like mentioned the customer support is terrible. Maybe that's just me too 😜 All the best and good luck dealing with them when one of your 3 starts breaking. Also just to mention. My brake disc came bent straight out of the box. The handlebars need adjusting after every ride. The stem clamp is terrible. The front light fell off after the first ride. The plastic caps for the front dampers came off after first ride. My rear tyre popped after 130kms. My battery gets 10-15kms out of a charge compared to 50 when new. ( only 6 weeks old). The battery covers pop off every little bump. Oh have you tried adjusting the brakes with the one Allen key they don't provide you? And the rest of the "tool kit" is crud. Threw them out and got better Allen keys just to maintain the scooter. I'm currently going through consumer affairs to try and get my money back, as they want me to pay for Freight, and if it cant be fixed they will take a 30% restocking fee. That's a loss of $480. So I'm just scooting around till it breaks. Also they originally sent it to Melbourne instead of Brisbane after I paid the $60 postage fee and blamed everyone for their mistake and had me do all the chasing around. And how good is their phone service? Going with the Bolzzen Sniper next. Will be here soon. Shopping through a local dealer instead. Sorry for the long reply.
@@cobsy4life that's your choice I guess. Sorry you had a bad run. Just remember all brands can have issues including bolzzen. Some of the issues you metioned on the gre can be fixed with simple maintenance which is probably why my original GTR is still going well after 3000km. Anyhow hope you ha E a good run with the sniper. It's a nice looking scoot
