Never understood why women's Olympic outfits were WAY skimping than the men's oin the same sport. Specifically in regards to gymnastics and track and field
The tops could be closer to the waist length. I feel like I have seen the track & field women in some pretty snug outfits...but only they would know. What ever works for them to perform. I can't remember if they were wearing a short running short or more like a bathing suit bottom. Let the athletes decide.
I don't understand why not make both suits available so they can wear what's comfortable with them?

I think, there is 1. Pair of briefs that are hi cut, there are Many other options !! If the athlete doesn’t like the hi cut brief. Don’t wear them ! And Everyone else, meany non Olympic athletes should stop starting trouble and mind their own business !!!

Yes, but only men were allowed to compete. One of the main reasons they were nude was to make sure no women snuck in. Also, it wasn't televised for the entire world to see your potential "wardrobe malfunction".
@@Valmills8989 that logic only carries one so far… In Sparta for example, women also practiced sports and they also competed naked… “Televising to the world” is also a moot point as the entire Greek world knew about the sports, playing naked, and had absolutely no problem with it.
The primary reason for competing naked was not to “make sure women didn’t sneak in” and was entirely about showing off the athletic human form, which the Greeks were obsessed with.
But we are not in ancient Sparta. We are in 2024.

Why not just make both an option and let them decide which one they prefer? One or the other may look better or feel better or just be what the lady likes? Because I feel like there's shouldn't be a specific "one suit" just make multiple styles ans let them choose. Then they can skimp or cover up as they wish and nobody can complain . Why make a big deal out of one uniform? Maybe it seems too revealing maybe lots of woman are just insecure about it? Maybe whoever created it wasn't thinking that way . These days everything is done with Ill intentions right? Just make both of them an option and bam, let the ladies choose. He'll if a man only wants a speedo on I don't see why not. U can watch his hotdogs flop around in there too.. if he doesn't prefer that wear basket ball shorts, or a speedo, same for ladies, instead of making them wear something in one style just make multiple style how stupid are people? Yall make up drama and gossip these days all for attention cuz everyone in the world is a victim of some sort and everyone in the world is just so careless with everything they do.. the fact this is a problem, is a problem. The world today focuses more on this than the fact our national security is less efficient than a 2 year old guarding a goal for a professional soccer game
