I think Qimir is the apprentice not the master. He’s killing the Jedi without a weapon by using mae.
I was just thinking this. Same how palpatine would use anakin to kill dooku and other Jedi later on?
Well thought!!!!!
Yup, this is his test to become a Sith "Knight"
Mae would be the weapon and the mystery sith already has a red lightsaber. So y would the mystery sith have to be put through the test at all?
That’s most likely it that’s a solid theory!!!!!
Sol saying "I'll tell you everything on the ship" means he's gonna die and not make it to the ship
Absolutely! Agreed. He's deadsville.
😆
thats how bad the writing is lol we arnt guessing......we know what will happen
I Hope not because I Love Sol 😭
Yea .. they will pull a „Ned Stark“ on him .. as bad of a decision it may be ..
Dude said “I didn’t” when asked what kind of deal he made with him then said “we didn’t”….that dialogue seems weird to me
The "smiling" motif of the Sith's mask also matches with Qimirs' goofy personality.
Abeloth
I would be so annoyed if he is behind the mask.
@@Gavcool31 Why?
@@GrayifiedXit just wouldn’t be fun; since he appeared people have been speculating it’s him. It wouldn’t be anything special nor surprising or unexpected
@ppppppppp64 That's only true because social media has promoted/made theory crafting so ready available... Believe it or not, NOT ALL people would expect it to be Quirmir... Just those who LIVE for this type stuff on the internet. It's obvious to us that Quirmir is more than he appear because we are nerds...😅
I can’t wait for that Sith master to be unmasked as Blake Bortles.

@@Mike19737 BORTLES!!!
The BOAT!
The difference between Coruscant in The Acolyte and Coruscant in the prequels feels kind of symbolic. Like, in The Acolyte, the Jedi temple stands dominant above all others, since it’s their Golden Age. But by the time of the prequels, the rest of the Republic has slowly built up around the temple, almost as if they’re slowly beginning to suffocate the Jedi into submission.
Love that
I also loved seeing a live action Selkath
Nice
True. Good catch
I think Qimir did more than get water. Like eliminating a Jedi Wookie!
Ahh that makes sense good point. I really dont want it to be him tho
I wondered that at first but would the wound still be smoking at least 10 minutes later?
Yup he took him out. I hope I’m wrong lol
Qimir is the Acolyte to Sith Apprentice Yord Fandar. They are working together to expose the Jedi for what they did to the witches. Yord will have had some connection to the twins creation. The final episode will be a Scream '96 reveal, there are two people behind the Smiling Mask. Qimir and Yord. Yord will kill Qimir once hes done with him, as he will be a loose end.
Yord Fandar is the Sith Apprentice to Darth Tenebrus/Plagueis.
I think so too.
Imagine the burnt hair smell left by Kelnacca
:(
Yeah it's Probably filling the whole room
someone fried a dog in here!!😂😂😂
It was just a scratch
Lol
I’m getting Abeloth vibes from that mask
It kinda does look like it's stitched together.
Same
ya me 2
ikr?
Abeloth doesn’t need a lightsaber. 🤷🏽♂️ would be cool tho.
I think the phrasing is misdirection and it is only that the Jedi must be disarmed and defenseless before the Acolyte murders the Jedi. Palpatine has Anakin kill an unarmed Dooku. That could be his final test. By killing an unarmed Jedi, it would prove that the Acolyte fully rejects the way of the Jedi.
Cold blooded murder
No because there was that line from Qimir asking Mae if taking his saber and using it on him is allowed
Also, remember when Palpatine said this to Luke: “I am defenseless. Take your weapon. Strike me down with all your hatred and your journey to the dark side will be complete!” That kinda sounds like murdering an unarmed opponent is the final test to become a Sith. Palpatine gave this test to Anakin and Luke.
@@MattMiller9 and To Dooku with Yaddle
Laser or steel cannot harm them... then we see one Jedi killed with steel & in episode 4, one killed with a laser. Flawless screenplay
It's a mostly unexplored planet, he says, before walking across a very solidly built bridge 5 seconds later...
I said the exact same thing lol
So no bridges can be built before the planet is thoroughly explored? Not a history major, huh?
I hope Qimir isn't the dark side master. He's too obvious.
Leaked set footage shows him behind the mask.
I’m hoping they’re trying to push the idea that he’s the master, but it’s actually a mis direct and it’s someone that nobody has thought of yet
@@jackmeenaghan99lol the writers arent that clever
@IcarusFallz that means very little without context.
Come on these talented writers wouldn't do something that amateurish.
Sol is the type of Jedi other Jedi don’t like. He has compassion.
good for him.
The shadow moths being attracted to the lightsabers like a regular moth to a bug zapper is actually really funny
They will take out some Jedi next episode, at night, when they just all lit their lightsabers
To me killing a Jedi without a weapon is converting them to the dark side. I don't think Mae is the Acolyte I think its Osha.
100% agree
😏
I think it's your mom
yes, the whole focus on practical killing without a weapon is a misdirect; it likely has a more philosophical and allegorical meaning.
😂😂😂😂
I think we have an apprentice rebelling against the rule of two by collecting acolytes, the off screen master will eventually find out and wipe every single one of them out without the jedi knowing truly what's going on
Smiles is Darth Venamis who was a secret second apprentice to Darth Tenabrous who’s real apprentice was Darth Plagueis. Venamis could levitate and ended up being killed with poison using a flower and was then revived for medichlorian experiments of Plagueis. I think they adapted this storyline. Or at least they are aware of it and sprinkling some references to it for fun and misdirection 😄 But I would love it if they went with that and end the season with Plagueis stepping in and takeing out whoever is still alive at that point!
This break down is nearly as long as the entire episode 😂
Qimir is just a red herring. We are meant to think he's the "Sith".
God I hope so
He is the Acolyte to one of the more famous Sith
@@vjtm7061I like that theory a lot more. Hopefully the writers thought the same.
That's what they want you to think ...

Sounds like something Greg Heffley would say.
We don't know how it's going to end and Ki-Adi-Mundi saw a holo of Mae but he's not on Khofar and he didn't see the Sith Lord. We don't know who is going to survive to the finale and live to tell any Jedi that the Sith are back.
I just don’t think the people who write these shows care enough to be accurate to the intricate details of lore. I doubt it will even be addressed
Ki-Adi- Mundi wasn’t even born yet
@@Isammaig I mean... you don't need a PhD of Star Wars to write for Star Wars. He saw Mae via a hologram. If anyone on Khofar survives goes back to Coruscant and says, "the Sith have returned!" then you'll have a continuity issue. We'll have to see how the series turns out.
That’s just too much cope and head cannon.
I’m gonna assume that they kill the “master” thinking it is the master and then the true master would be alive training his next apprentice since his current one failed. I could be wrong but when Assassins are trained the apprentice trains them.
Did everyone see The Master leave Kelnacca's place at 8:02 to 8:00 left. He leaves throughout the side ..its very very faint, I didnt see it first watch. But look closely you can definitely see The Master leaving. Thats why the wound is smoking.
Even if this character is not a Sith(technically) it doesn’t matter, because Darth Plagueis was around at this time, and most likely his master too. Just because Ki-Adi-Mundi thinks that the Sith have been extinct for a millennia, doesn’t mean he’s right. Palpatine was on Coruscant a number of times, and they never felt his presence. For all we know, the Sith have always been around, just found a way to hide from the Jedi. It wasn’t until Darth Sidious made himself known, due to his hunger for power, that the Sith openly engaged with the Jedi.
If it is Qimir, how would he have enough time to: Cut himself down. Get into his outfit. Get to Kelnacca first and kill him, without any struggle it looks like. And then hide and wait for the Jedi. Mae did ask “he’s 10 minutes south, right?” Just seems like a lot of things to do in under 10 minutes. While I do think Qimir is hiding something, I don’t think he’s the overall big bad
He had some time when he went to get water, before being caught in Mae's trap.
Dark side of the force. Pathway. Unnatural abilities.

I still love how thanos is in a regular ass t-shirt
The green Jedi (Vern?) is dressed exactly like Shrek and I can't unsee it.
Vern could be the Sith Lord
HAHAHAHAAAA
Honestly, this felt like the Kashyyyk section of the Knights of the Old Republic game where we had to go to the surface to find the Rakatan computer that had the Star Forge map. Died MULTIPLE times there, but no Sith . . . Technically
Qimir: The Jedi will put you in prison
Mae: I killed two Jedi, but i didnt killed the wookiee.. uuuh uhh uhhhh!
I don't think the second one should count, though.
Some how Palpatine has returned 😂😂😂
Yep, Palpatine accessed the world between worlds...somehow
I’m calling it.. manny Jacinto’s character has a twin and THATS the masked master
That would be interesting. Sith are seeking out twins.
I fully support this theory just because then we'd have two Manny Jacintos. Narratively it'd never work, but that's a price worth paying.
Thought so too.😂 I think he has a twin who's the sith apprentice and sol is their father. Maybe sol is a sith looking for twins
The twist will be everyone ever in Star Wars is a twin.
The symbol that Kalnacca is putting on the walls of the interior of their residence on Khofar looks like a combination of not only the spiral symbols on the coven but also the symbol of the jedai from Aktu that luke had been at.
I think this is why they all sense that "rotting" in these woods because i think this is a place almost akin to dagoba or aktu
Qimir tells Mae, "He collects people."...
I keep coming back to laughing because Yord looks like a who from the grinch of something.

@@teamfuego7900there are acolytes lego sets?
There seems to be another time-and-space issue in this episode. The way it's cut, it seems like Mae and Qimir are on Khofar while the Jedi and Osha are still in hyperspace, and have already started their journey to Kelnacca. How do they all end up arriving there at about the same time? It feels sloppy. It always bugs me when every planet in the galaxy is treated like the room next door.
well mae and qimir were in the forest for a while and the others might have landed somewhere closer and also were probably hurrying since another jedi was in danger.
Mae and Qimir landed far away. The jedi were already close to the forest
the hell, how did i wind up here 😂😂
Mother Aniseya is the Master (Sith, Ren, Pre-Ren) as inspired by Danzig’s Mother song. The Jedi are the PMRC.
100 %
One thing a lot of people are getting wrong: Mundi made no mention of the Sith, nor did anyone else. So him being in this episode does nothing to undo what he says in TPM. They are obviously trying to figure out what this is, but there has been no mention of Sith. So even if Darth Teeth is a Sith, it only creates inaccuracies if Mundi finds out about it (or if he finds out, and then doesn’t hide it, or isn’t told to hide it).
You do realize he was not even born yet? He should’ve not been in the episode
@@jonathonwestover5684 there’s no canon evidence of his age. So that is factually incorrect. I feel indifferent about him being present, but it changes nothing.
@@jonathonwestover5684 his age isn't offically known at least in canon.
Yes he did in episode 1 he said I don't think the Sith could have returned without us knowing
I noticed something in episode 4 when qimir and Mae arrive on Khofar. When there putting things into the backpacks qimir was behind Mae putting something as well and he grabbed something that was almost the exact shape of a lightsaber and looked a lot like a lightsaber. He quickly tried to stuff it in there and moved it around trying to fit it in there and later in the planet the master arrived wielding a lightsaber so I am convinced that he had a lightsaber in his bag and he's Mae's sith master
pretty sure it was some sort of canteen or something.
I honestly feel like it’s one of the Jedi
And at the end, while sitting in a cantina after a long and convoluted story of the Acolyte, turns to the other patrons and says
" And that's why the Jedi don't wear white and gold robes anymore."
Yord?

'Those two's gaze" is so phonetically insulting 😂
Do y'all think Qimir has another personality?
One is him and the other, the Sith
... no. He's acting. We've already seen him led down the facade when he was talking to Osha in the storefront, before immediately putting it back up and acting like a buffoon.
You're the best. Always making analysis with deep knowledge and respect. Thanks
He just ignores the bad things. It all comes off as paid off
My theory is that plagueis is manipulating the whole thing and Qimir is not just "the master" but an apprentice of plagueis. Plagueis probably made/help make the sisters as a test to make the ultimate force user from the force
Keep in mind all because you have a red lightsaber, doesn’t mean you’re Sith. Sith are a specific cult/ppl like the Jedi.
I think it is weird that Coruscant is so less developed. it is only about 100 year before TPM and it has been a city planet for thousands of years.
It's because at this time it is the golden age of the Jedi as opposed to any kind of empire being in complete power
Let's be honest, Manny Jacinto's character is going to be the sith master.
I hope he is the apprentice or acolyte
Smile-O-Ren! 🤣🤣

Those ying-Yang-ish spiral symbols have a similar esthetic to that of the Symbol on the floor in the Jedi Temple Ahch-To in The Last Jedi…especially with the two dots
The last what?
“Really confused story telling”
I recognize your obvious attempt to stay optimistic about this series but those were the most important words spoken in this entire break down.
When you prioritise DEI over capability... 🤷
I think a distinct possibility about Mundi’s line that everyone has overlooked, is that every single person that sees the Sith is going to die.
No way he just said the "power of many" in a way that he thinks it was cool. 😂😂😂

ki adi mundi not even being born yet was so funny to me
It was a typo, it’s ki adi mundi senior lol, the prequel ki-adi is junior 😂
It's legends continuity, this is canon and Ceran have a long lifespan.
In canon, Ki-adi was 93 in episode 3. Not at all alive during this part of the High Republic
@@mattschwartz6637 wrong. We don't know his age in EP3. Canon does not state his birth
He was 70 every piece of media except this has said he was 70 years old in episode 1 plus male creans live less than female creans that’s why he had a family because males are rarer and live for not as long because they age faster.
In legends there was a tradition of Jedi swapping sabers with another Jedi they admired and respected. It showed up in a comic I believe, and I am also pretty sure that Plo Koon was one of the ones who was shown to have done it. So could still maybe be Plo?
Ki Adi Mundi... patron saint of being terminally wrong xD
R.I.P to kelnacca was hoping to see him fight maybe we see him do that in flashbacks in future episode.
its like we barley knew him smh
There’s a shot of him in the trailer fighting padawan Torbin on Brendok. Very likely the witches posses the wookiee
Carrie ann moss as the sith lord would be amazing
Bet this "master" is Koril seeking revenge for the destruction of the coven. It's just assumed they're Sith because a portion of the Sith code was uttered and there's a red saber.
I think Mother Kiril (I'm bad at the names- the Witch mama with the horns) mind-controlled Jedi-Wookie (Kelnacca?) and possibly Sol or Indara, when the four Jedi walked in on a battle between Mother Kiril's supporters and Mother Aniseya's supporters. So the Jedi all feel guilty about what happened, but none of the four have complete, accurate recollection of what happened. It explains Kelnecca's dark eyes, Apprentice T's scars, Indara's reaction to Mae, and Sol's keeping stuff from Osha.
“Somehow Kelnacca returned”

Sol is the Sith Lord and not just any Sith. He is Darth Plagueis the Wise. Read his official character bio from Disney. First sentence, calls him wise. 🙃
😂could be I guess. I think the confrontation at the end seems to exonerate him but who knows
Ki-Adi-Mundi might never hear about this appearance of the apparently Sith master if all the Jedi witnesses die in episode 5.
He was not born yet
If you look at the Sith's right arm after he throws Ocea aside it almost looks like his arm has burn scars.

Imo the arms and hands of the "Sith" dont look female

I thought Kel Naka's abode was a ship too at first, but after a few shots I noticed it had a large tank tread around it, maybe some old forestry equipment from long ago?
I really hope qimir isn't the sith to obvious
Khofar was breathtaking.
So far, my favorite episode was 4 followed closely by 2.
I got the sense while watching that the Jedi were not really concerned with the bugs even if they did sense their presence.
This is star wars... Qimir is misdirect. Makes you think he's the sith.
I’d love if Qimir is a sith but that goofy persona is his actual personality
It would be amazing to have a clumsy weird sith
