Beastmode is the most hype song Monsta X has, and that's saying something because these boys invented hype music! And I love hearing them cheer each other on in the dance practice because it's such a strong choreo, they need that energy. As for the coordination and stuff, I imagine this practice was done pretty early on, so they might not have had it down perfect quite yet. The live performances, you can see how much they improve on it the more they do it.
I really love the first stage you watched because you can tell the mics are on. Those live vocals are on point!
And you watched the MMA performances! Definitely the best of their award show performances. Hyungwon's solo dance is TOO good 😫Hyungwon is considered lead dancer, and Minhyuk is actually considered the visual. They may have chosen Hyungwon because Shownu was really busy at the time (I believe he was a judge on a competition show around this time?).
As a Changkyun bias, both stages for MMA wrecked me 😣When he got up on the table? I can't. I'll stop screaming now. But how can they all look so amazing just sitting at a table and singing? Incredible. Ah, it's all just too good.
Also, the new mask is great! It's super cute and works well 😊
Yes yes yes, I also love when we can hear them talking, screaming, jumping, laughing and more during dance practices! It feels more homey ❤

I mean, he is a visual himself. It's easy to be confused 😅 Hmm, I think visual and center are different. By definition, the visual position is whoever meets Korean beauty standards the most. The center CAN be the visual, but is usually the one with the most all-around skills. That's my understanding at least.

I love the dance practice so much! And Beastmode itself is that ultimate hype song that you just throw all of your energy into, like, it's not so much about synchronicity and perfect lines. Also, Joohoney, Changkyun, and Kihyun keep coming for me throughout, but Shownu reclaimed his spot at the end, like, "Hello, I'm your bias. Need I remind you?" 🤣😅
But I see your point with that body wave with center Changkyun needing a bit more coordination, especially since it's like one of the "killing points" in the choreo. It prolly can't be helped too much since the boys do execute moves differently from one another. I suppose we see another great benefit there with the addition of the dancers. ^^
Oh yes, I never looked at that wave as something bad, I just shared what caught my attention eheh The uncoordination could have totally been on purpose, though I doubt it in this particular move 😂

You seemed so excited during the dance practice video, that's what this song does.
Things I liked in this choreo/dance practice :
1. Changkyun having no bones, like "how?!"
2. Joohoney, best hypeman/him yelling in the background
3. Hyungwon's effortless dancing
4. Shownu Main dancer, shining in the middle, also his boyfriend fit
5. Minhyuk's smooth dancing/duo dance with Kihyun, and his little "yeah!" at the end, so cute!
6. Kihyun, underappreciated dancer!
7. The last dance break, after Kihyun's solo, I could watch it on repeat, the coordinated stomps and the satisfying claps are a reset for my heartbeat 😵
And yes I also thought Minhyuk look way taller than Kihyun. And the part where you said that they were doing different waves, I think it's because some members (e.g. Changkyun) are more flexible than others, I think that's why Changkyun is in the middle for that part.
Inkigayo takes such good care of our boys! 😍 The audio, the mics are ON, the backtrack doesn't overpower their vocals, the camerawork, the set! I agree what you said about the smooth transitions between Kihyun-Minhyuk and Hyungwon-Shownu vocals, they balance each other perfectly.
Jooheon is soooo charistmatic during Beastmode!! 😎
Ha! I laughed so hard when you pulled your glasses out during Hyungwon's solo dance. I loved the laser light show, so cool! But it wish it was brighter to be able to really see Hyungwon's amazing dancing. I do believe Hyungwon is lead dancer and Shownu main dancer.
Between the two Beastmode stages, I prefer MMA dress style. Hyungwon looked so good! Him taking off his white shirt for the beastmode dance was so hot!
The MMA stages were so well designed! Like the Love Killa one, yes KINGS! Although the camerawork was a bit trippy, when they were doing solo shots 🙃

Hyungwon dances like he does't give a sh*t and I absolutely loooove that about him 😂 and HOLY YES to Hyungwon unbuttoning his shirt while not breaking eye contact with the camera. That was something something, Sir.
I'm so happy with both of the performances, I was wrecked by the MMA one though. Never thought I would see Love Killa like that, but I enjoyed it very much. Such a treat to the eyes, even with the wanky camerawork - come on, must be difficult filming such visuals 😂

Btw, in regards of your comment abt their coordination during the dance practice, I think it's cos these boys has their own style in dancing. So even though they're doing the same choreography, the execution can seem a bit different.You'll notice it if you watch more mx dance practices (I first noticed it on Shoot Out chorus part during the pelvic wave). And personally that's what I like about their performance cos they're all great dancers with different dancing styles.

Eu nao sei exatamente as nomenclaturas, mas Shownu e Hyungwon tem posição de dancer. Shownu é considerado o dancer machine do grupo,ele pode dançar qualquer música e ser incrível. Hyungwon tem seu próprio estilo sofisticado de dançar, ele tem linhas de corpo e execuçao muito limpas e bonitas ,o que o torna um excelente dancer.
No Monsta x temos uma Visual Line composta pelo Minhyuk, Hyungwon e Wonho . Os 3 são os visuais. Desde o No Mercy é assim.
A verdade é que Monsta são todos artistas muito completos e com uma assinatura única. Ninguém pode fazer como eles.
É só olhar os covers, as músicas simplesmente se moldam como se deles fossem.

What? Did you react to their MMA performance? Omg that is definetely my favorite performance from their end year award stages! The singing and dancing were just on point. All of them were amazing. Fun fact: "Beastmode" was not one of my favorite tracks on the album, but when I watched the live performances it just won me over. I think it is one of those songs that needs to be appreciated live, it is just so good. Are you telling me that you are going to react to their live performances from Fatal Love? Including the SMA one? Do you know what you are getting yourself into? Are you okay? lol
P.s: You have to react to their MAMA performances (specially their 2017, 2018 and 2019 ones. The 2019 Minhyuk' solo is just chef's kiss). I know we keep requesting reactions all the time, but these ones cannot be missed hahaha
