i miss sniffing in my nieces and nephew’s mouths 😭 I’ve been raising my youngest niece by myself since she was 3 weeks old and her newborn breath and the smell under her neck was just perfection! I refuse to get rid of the Dreft Newborn detergent for her because it makes me feel like she’s so tiny again w the baby smell, she will be one next month 😭 I already put in a request for another baby niece or nephew, let’s pray they deliver (literally!) 😂
I just had my baby three weeks ago. She’s my quadruple rainbow, after three miscarriages and one early stillbirth, from insufficient cervix. With my baby girl, Milagros , we almost lost her at 20 weeks and needed emergency surgery, cerclage, to keep her in me. And after that weeks and weeks of bedrest. It was all so worth it. I am fully enjoying all the cute newborn things, she does. I will fully enjoy everything, every moment, that she is with us. She’s such a miracle.
the scrunch, how they smell, how their lips pucker up, how their hair feels, the cuddles, i can keep going on and on…. I wish they could stay like this forever.❤️

I just had my first baby a lil over a month ago and everyday I'm so happy I get to wake up and cuddle my babes, he is the highlight of my days. I'm starting to get used to the tiredness, so I'm able to enjoy a lot more things now 😅
The scrunch, of course, the gummy smiles, the tiny fingers and toes, brushing the soft baby hair and bath time!!! Everything newborn is absolutely awesome!

It's the moment when he stops mid-cry just to smile at me🥺💞 when he cries in the middle of the night because he's hungry, but he's just awake enough to recognize my face and get happy
My son used to be in this foetal position when my wife picked him up. Those days I had a very exhaustive job, so couldn't spend much time with him. That's a very big regret.
Talk about how strong the hold things like where do the get those strength from . Could remember when my late daughter sucked my lips 😂😂 I couldn't feel my lips anymore

He was so right. 🥺 My son is 25 and THAT moment right there seems like a minute ago.... the baby stage last less than a year and you never get it back. but it's so sweet.
Whenever I look into my son's container of baby clothes it still smells like him as a newborn, it's very nostalgic 🥺 at the time I really couldn't smell the "baby smell" but I realise it now. It's like a cup of warm oat milk
The sounds they make when they eat. I’m not a mom, but I’ve always loved babies and I remember keeping my cousin (when he was around a year old) in my room with me our family went to the beach when I was in high school, and as sad as it was to hear him cry I loved being able to hold him and soothe him back to sleep.

Cherish ! Can you believe how fast time flies?! Hope you’re taking the time to not only take lots of pics but to actually print & frame a few instead of living in your phone! I’ve been guilty of that with my grandkids… grandson lived with us most of his first 5 yrs, so we did have pics back then… but when they moved out and family grew, about the time we stopped using camera- just phone- have very few of my 8yo granddaughter.
