    I am about to finish my first month with Cellularsales! It’s supposedly been a slow month but I’ve made 5300 dollars in coms and I’m #1 on my team. Number one secret to my success so far has to be the fact that I refuse to lie to the customer!! Disclose everything!! I’m not saying that you need to tell them about a fee 30 times but I’ve already had return customers due to the fact that I set the expectations right out of the gate! I have metric tons to learn and so will you, so be sure to annoy your new colleagues with questions, but be sure to return the favor when you’re the senior rep!

      Good job man, I actually got hired at Cellularsales to last month I've been coded for 3 weeks now and its been getting easier & its so many opportunities to make money here. Currently I'm just trying to hit my 4k minimum and halfway through the month I'm on pace for only 3500 so I'm trying to learn as much as I can and have a strong 2nd half of the month!

    Hey man, I work for Verizon and I’ve been having a lot of issues closing a sale on NOT looking to buy people. Any advice? Also, how do I prevent rebuttals?

    • @DirkHagandTruth
      @DirkHagandTruth  Před 2 lety +5

      People NOT looking to buy, I wouldn’t try to pressure into buying. I would just ask some questions about what they currently use and what has them looking elsewhere (find pain points or wants that Verizon offers). Informing them and not pressuring them increases your chance they ask for you when they are ready (which could end up being that day)…If by rebuttals you mean objections, I would focus on the top 10 or so objections you hear and come up with ways to overcome them. The more you practice and role play overcoming those objections, the more comfortable you’ll be discussing in real time… There’s also some great content out there from people that have been overcoming objections for a long time, as well as content on building report /trust in a short sales cycle. Hope that helps.

    • @eminemsw49ify
      @eminemsw49ify Před 6 lety +2

      If someone says you’re a natural sales person when you’re in a customer service role, that means you know how to talk to people and engage in a solid conversation with depth and direction, however that doesn’t guarantees sales, but is a good foundation for them. Find out who they are, find the needs and give them solutions. Ask value questions!!!

      rita manzo Great questions, and if I knew the exact answers to those exact questions I would have my own multibillion dollar business. My personal go to to increase traffic is to build my own flyers and gvet out of the Store to pass those out especially to apartment offices for new customer packs, income tax offices, etc. You can do outside events to get more visibility as well. Tricks to avoid long ports, you can call your port department to verify info is correct, outside of that it's out of your control. As for converting leads into customers, that's a whole seperate video (I might put on here to this evening and see what you think), a lot goes into that topic that is more than typing a quick reply. Im in cellular sales. I barely break $200 in commission. The issue is trying to get a customer to stop and look. They just keep walking. No training is ever on this topic. How to get their attention and pull em to the table, after thee approach

  • @michaelwhittman1956
    @michaelwhittman1956 Před 4 lety +6

    Assume the sale. Don't ask "do you want a case" say instead "do you like this blue case, or this black one?".most importantly learn to mislead without lying. For instance if a customer creating a new line asks "can I get on a lower cost plan?" a lot of people would respond with "if you get on the unlimited plan the phone will cost you $20(or whatever the upgrade/new line price is) but if you get on the$30 plan full retail price for the phone is $120!". You didn't say that they will have to pay full retail price but nobody who doesn't do this all day doesn't catch stuff like that. I've actually toyed with the idea of being a "wireless consultant" Because I am familiar with all of the plans/pros/cons of all the different carriers and could direct people to the best plan/carrier (usually cricket wireless unless they are trying to get a phone, and even then about 6 months of every year they give their best phones away for free) and it would be a valuable service because most people really do get taken advantage of when they go to a cell phone store but it would never work as a business because they don't know that they are getting fucked....

    How much do you make a year?

    • @DirkHagandTruth
      @DirkHagandTruth  Před 5 lety +1

      Andrew Eaton
      Most I made selling in wireless was probably 60k, more as a manager. That was also when hourly rates were 10 or 11 bucks so mostly commission.

    • @andreweaton9021
      @andreweaton9021 Před 5 lety +1

      Cody Jordan I see, would you say 60k a year is the majority of the time or is there an average that you seem to stick to?

    • @DirkHagandTruth
      @DirkHagandTruth  Před 5 lety

      Andrew Eaton a lot of variables. Depends on the carrier and if it's COR or TPR. Usually highest income is at COR. Depends on your hourly and their commission structure. If structure is good and you can talk to people, you can make that normally.

      It's true, you can. You have to hustle your ass off though and be focused on your goals. There's no time for daydreaming or slacking. You want those sales and that money, you have to hustle hard for it. A positive attitude helps as well. If you're negative all the time, you're going to go nowhere.

    I made 63k my first year at AT&T. Over time and close to 20k in commission. Started at 14.10 then went to 15.86 with the new union agreement. Now I’m around $17.50 after 14 months. You get raises every 6 months till you hit $19.XX. Assistant store managers make around 25 to $30 an hour. I think they base that off of how much you made off of commission being a rep. Directv and U-verse tv and internet are $65 each. New lines are $25. Upgrades, tablets and watches are $5 each. Pre paid and dtv now are $10 each. Insurance and accessories isn’t much. I never count that. They want you to maximize on every sale. They don’t want you to be a clerk. Main focus is growing the business. Selling tv, internet, business lines and first net lines for first responders. It’s not a bad company to work for if your good at your job.

    • @DirkHagandTruth

      As with any job if you don't perform to expectation or greater, your tenure will be minimal. But if you are given the proper training, continued developement, proper expectation, and you are committed to being successful, you will hit your goals. I always determined the levels of my staff (A,B,C,D players) by their mindset and are they coachable, not as much on metrics. When I coach and evaluate I look for behaviors not results. If the behaviors are there, the results will reflect.

      Stick with it. Ask questions and if you have down time, spend it shadowing peers and seeing as many different scenarios as you can. There’s a lot of uncomfortable moments being client facing and learning something new. Just don’t take anything personal and keep your head up.

What specific skills do you use today that would not have been as great without his books, his content? Could you have learned it faster without the time put into his content and more time put into putting out your own content or selling more goods & services yourself?
