United Airlines Flight UAY14 faced a horrific accident on the 21st of July 2024. Investigators investigating the flight logs and black box recordings determined the probably cause of the unfortunate accident. On take-off, the inexperienced Captain Yusalkafi failed to properly use his flaps, and pulled up on the joystick throughout the entirety of the take-off, producing far too much drag lowering the ground speed of the aircraft which ultimately led to the deaths of the 363 passengers and 12 crew. Upon reaching the end of the runway, the plane lacked the sufficient speed to gain lift and clear the area, with the tail of the plane striking the tarmac. Horrified onlookers watched as the plane collided with a forested area at the edge of the runway. The plane broke up on collision killing most of the crew instantly. Airport and local emergency services rushed to the scene but unfortunately due to the severity of the accident none of the passengers would survive the accident.
