The best sound in aviation is at 40 seconds when the GE90 comes alive and you can feel the whole cabin vibrating!
The louder, the better!
@@NDSAviation1ayo pause😂
I’ll take an AIR START from a DC-8 any day, that wooshing sound is awesome.
exatamente
Yeah !! So true...😊😊😊
That distinctive moo sound as the fuel is ignited
Even only those GE90 startup is a work of art.
Absolute beast of an engine built for one of the greatest airplanes ever built...The Triple 7
It’s amazing how the first incident resulting in fatalities on a 777 was almost 20 years after it first flew. The safety numbers on a 777 currently are inflated by two freak Malaysia Airlines incidents, but excluding those incidents it’s as well made of an aircraft that an aircraft could conceivably be. Part of the golden era of Boeing.
@@NDSAviation1 Yep...MH370 who knows what the heck happened, the second Malaysian airliner that was shot down by a missile while it was cruising at 33,000 feet, most likely from Russians.
The 777 is a gorgeous airplane with absolute titanic turbofans.
Recently flew on my first 777. I was warned the engines were powerful, loud and vibrated a lot. But no one did any justice to how it truly felt in the moment. This plane is incredibly powerful.
Kind of hypnotic to look at the nose cone swirls on the turbine.
The second best sound of a commercial jet (turbofan) engine, after the incredible sound of a 707 (turbojet) engine! I'll never forget flying on Olympic and TWA 707's from JFK NY to Athens, Greece as a teen back in the 70's! I can still hear the sound of those P&W turbojets spooling up!
Most of the 707 videos on CZcams are the turbofan variants, unsure if a turbojet variant has been uploaded here before
Kids being louder than literal jet engines is wild.
LOL
Right?!! My kids would never even look like they were gonna act a fool. I give them "the glare" and they cower in their seats! lol jkjk but really its very annoying on an airplane. Normally it's the adults that cause more problems in my experience! What about you?
@@savannahfan2 Yep the adults can be quite problematic!
Allah Akbar!
@@cetsy2023 fReE pAlEsTiNe!
Incredibly picturesque departure!
Thanks for stopping by!
Nice capture with that mighty GE90 hum as both engines started, but balls to those noisy kids!
Always fun to share a video of a GE90 with everyone!
The engine, the power, the sound, the breathtaking view… perfect!
14:42 I've taken two trans-Atlanic trips last year on UA, both times it was the same Star Alliance Livery 772, possibly even that one. 15:53 The Elizabeth toll plaza on the NJ Turnpike, the dozens, & dozens, & dozens of times I've passed that toll plaza between 1976-ish to about 2004, in my dads car, in my brothers car, on a Greyhound or Trailways bus, traveling between NYC & DC...
That’s me in about 28 hrs, but on a 772 headed to EWR.
Hope you have a good flight!
Good ol' GE90.
You can see most of the NYC metro area and even Long Island 😊
12:32 I can hear PW4077 spooling up!
Thank you for labeling each part! So awesome of you!
Sounds like my flight simulator, beautiful takeoff
you hear the kids acting silly and then...SLAP! and "Shut up!" from the mom! lol and then crying the entire rest of the flight.🤣
The loudest startup I ever seen on my life...
That’s the GE90 for you! It’s awesome
Can't wait for PMDG 777 to come out for my home simulator
Beautiful Take off _ Thank You for dis Video. :))
14:09 Best part
GE90 The Sleek and massive powerhouse !!!
Great video my friend, thanks for taking us along.
Thanks for watching!
Exellent video. Lovely views.
Appreciate it!
@@NDSAviation1 You are welcome
This is all right, but doesn't compare to that sweet symphony of pure joy of the RB-211! That RR is music to my ears!
The RB211 is a beast. I actually did fly on a United 757-300 with RB211 engines. Haven’t uploaded that yet. But RB211s are getting harder to find. There aren’t any US-based 767s that operate with RB211, and 747-400s with RB211 are pretty all gone worldwide. I think the RB211s on the 747s sound the best of all the RB211-powered aircraft. Maybe it’s because there’s 4 of them
aviation enthusiasts: this is like music to us 😍
non-aviation enthusiasts: ughh this is so loud and annoying
The deafening engine start of a GE90 is the best sound to us
The best sound is when the ge microwaves dings And meal is ready
Looks like th Newark5 departure with that little quick turn to left and right lol
This is pinicle modern flight right here! What a great time to be alive...and it only gets better from here!
Great vid! Really beautiful flight. 👍❤️
Very nice 👍
Yum!!!
The power is megawatts
Work at SFO in terminal 3 area and you can hear these things start up all the way at the international terminal😭
Ist das Triebwerk nicht ok???
👍👍👍👍👍
Who invited the circus on board?? Heard that more than the GE lol
You did say LOIUD right?!?!
Where is this flight headed to?
San Francisco
Which lens did you use on your phone?
Ultra wide or wide
standard wide lens
@@NDSAviation1 Thank you! Also this was a great vid, thoroughly enjoyed
Is it just me or does it look like a bread tie holding that engine on during takeoff??!!! OMG!
Those are short, stubby engines!
Wonder when 777X coming to service?
lol at this rate, the US will probably see another total solar eclipse (2044) before it sees the 777X flying scheduled flights.
14:00🌙
roar
At 16:30 the slats retracted....
Nothing fell off..? I’m shocked;-)!
Lol - keep in mind that’s there a huge amount of selection bias in terms of what gets reported in the media. There are tens of thousands of Boeing flights everyday, and 99.99% of them are completely uneventful, that will never make the news
The thumbnail looks like P3D
This can’t be 777
Wings are to short
Incorrect. This is a 777-300ER
@@NDSAviation1I know this is a B777-300…. Can you just tell me what your computer specs are? I am a real pilot, but I know this is a simulator…. And it is amazing. Can you share your hardware and software? And @jeribenz5455 should stick Mercedes Benz!
LTNS
I think that's 737 not 777.
Nope. This is a 777-300ER
Who's laugh?🤨

This could have been about 20 minutes shorter
Insane how congested the airspace. That’s why you hear so many throttle rollbacks as the crew await clearance to a higher altitude, get clearance, and throttle up again.
