- Dodger Fest 2024, previously known as Fan Fest, was held at Dodger Stadium on February 3rd at Dodger Stadium. We got there early and had time to check out some of the booths and activities. They did things a little bit different this year. There were no $30 autograph sessions with the players this year, so that what a bummer. They had batting cages, a pitching cage, air brush tattoos, a childs play area, sample booths, some phot booths, and a few other booths. They once again had the Yard Sale, which was absolutely crazy, they had the mystery bag booth and it was $80 for one ball or $150 for 2 balls. It was crazy packed over there so we didn't spend time over there. The player interviews were fun. We saw Chris Taylor, Will Smith, Freddie Freeman, Mookie Betts, James Outman, Jason Hayward, and It was great to finally see Tyler Glasnow in a Dodger uniform and the main attraction of course was Shohei Ohtani in blue! The y had the whole field set up as a viewing area for the big moment when Shohei came to speak on the stage. Fun time!!

The Dodgers signed Shohei?! Why hasn't anyone talked about that? Also, it's not fair seeing Glasnow. The dude is truly a stud pitcher, just look at him (and his dreamy flow).
Seeing him in blue was strange! And glasnow not only has the dreamy flow, but he is like 6’5”!!! lol.

It was nice to be around the game again! She did not this time. Most weren’t doing any at all, only those expensive ones, and we were more focused on seeing what Ohtani had to say.

Back in the day… on Sunday Home games at Dodger Stadium, before warm up and the game starting, Dodger players use to go behind home plate on all the different levels in the stadium and sign autographs. And it was FREE!
Going to date myself (late teen) on this statement. Was standing by the table waiting for my nephew to get an autograph, where Steve Yeager was signing autographs when Walter Alston walks up and says “let’s go Steve, it’s almost time to start the game!” Guess at that time, it was one of his managerial duties on the Sunday home game to get his players back to the dugout for the game? 😃
Yes, the plan is to get out to AZ for spring training: we’ve gone the past few years and love it. Those are some great memories at Dodger Stadium! I wish they would still do things like that. :)
@@1calzam1 Between MLB, Players Union, and Team Owners, there has been so much "take away's" from the fans. Fifty years ago, no one ever heard of paying for autographs. Growing up in Cooperstown, we use to go down to the Otesaga Hotel the night before induction day, and come home with a baseball full of veterans ball players autographs. It's not like that any longer, now you have to stand in line for a table with just a few old timers and have to pay for the autographs.
Those old days would have been fun! I know how much money I’ve spent in Cooperstown, as well as all of the other signings we go to is rediculous! :)
