Eating Every US vs Japanese Kit Kat Flavor | Food Wars
Kit Kat in America is made by Hersheys and in Japan and Canada and the rest of the world Kit kat is made by Nestle !!! The regular Kit kats of each company tastes quiet a bit different cause the two companies use slightly different recipes !!! Thats my useless Kit Kat knowledge cause I do food tasting videos LOL .
That rest of the world, without the British actually inventing Kitkat in 1932, by Rowntree they'd be no Japanese and American trying to out do each other with various flavours, they'll never have the experience of tasting the much superior flavour of the original Rowntree Kitkat.

KitKat bars contain lactose. If you are lactose intolerant, then try taking lactase tablets before you eat anything containing dairy products or lactose.

people get their hands ruined when they break the fjngers apart. I think its less messier to hold the packet from outside and munch them down. Or, is their another way out?

Japan has so many interesting flavors. Love the Harry Cameo. I didn't know that Kit Kats were originated in the UK. Interesting!
Yes they were originally created by a company called Rowntree's of York.
And they're still made in the same factory. On average they make about 5million KitKats a day
York's Chocolate Story has a section dedicated to Kit Kat, really interesting!
I missed a cameo of George in the wasabi episode... Love those crossovers.

I had a Japanese sweet potato one that you actually put in the oven for a few minutes to bake.

After just watching these guys taste test all those bars of chocolate, I was feeling a little queasy myself. George's expression on trying the less than likeable ones were hilarious. I can vouch for the strawberry cream one. It was so nasty, I even ended up tossing it in the trash after a few bites. And I like Kit Kats!! The matcha flavors varied depending on what region you are in.
Japanese kitkats are so varied and delicious! Happy to see George back on the channel too.

I’ve had the lemon Kit Kats, they’re super delicious! They remind me of those vanilla shortbread cookies with lemon creme in the middle!

George said that the kitkats are regional. Some of them are also seasonal. Esp. Summer and autumn. Summer is always lemon, mint choco. Autumn is always sweet potato&chestnuts. Love it. :)
I love not only the difference in ki kat flavors but also the hosts explains each and how japan is so caring and America is so whatever lol says a lot about our cultures😂

I'm so thankful for the international store in my state(Nevada). Most of the bagged Japanese Kats George had, I tried and shared with coworkers 😁
Japanese kitkats are amazing! Hojicha, Dark chocolate with almonds and cranberries, Dark Matcha and dark chocolate are my all time favorites
We have a Japanese candy shop, and I've tried just about every flavor seen here. The flavors are very rich and don't taste artificial, really. The only American Kit-Kat I like are the white chocolate ones.
You should've also compare with UK Kit Kats altogether because Kit Kats were originated in the UK

So my cousin and I went into the Rock Store near his house to get some bologna & hash brown biscuits since he was craving one.
(had never tried the combo until today but it was pretty good)
While we were checking out I saw they had Strawberry & Dark Chocolate KitKats as well as Blueberry Muffin KitKats. I don't know if they're new but they looked interesting.

I'm in America and I just got the strawberry kit kats "for adults." They are amazing! Best kit kats I've had yet.
Also, at first I was horrified by them biting straight into the kit kats but now I want to try it? It seems oddly satisfying.
Thats how I always eat my Kt kats specially if its for my taste testing videos , just to make people a little horrified and get laughs out of it :)

But eventually that becomes your standard and every once in a while some fellow Brazilian offers you a sweet from Brazil and it's so unhealthily sweet you think it's gonna melt your teeth.

My personal favorite Kit Kat flavors are the matcha and breaktime almond and cranberry (milk chocolate or ruby chocolate). The breaktime flavors are amazing!

I had a caramel pretzel Kit Kat when I was in New Zealand. Best candy I’ve ever had.
Japan always has the best flavor of kit Kat. Ton of them with unique taste. I especially buying lot of different flavors from Japan shipping it to my country. Cost so much but worth the money

The strawberry cheesecake ones are amazing. Everytime my boss goes to Japan he brings them back. And every few months our rep from Japan will send them to us.

The kit kat chocolatory in Ginza is amazing. Tons of special flavors and a Cafe upstairs. In the Cafe you can get kit kat sundaes and hot chocolate.

Japanese kit kat is awesome. One of the flavors I brought back my from trip was this Hokkaido Melon and Mascarpone cheese. It's one of the best things I've ever tasted and I have family who wish I could get tons of that one alone, but not so simple.

I knew Kit Kats were really popular in Japan but I'm surprised they don't have a four-finger bar, that seems the most iconic! Also who else in the UK/Ireland agrees Kit Kats tasted better when they were wrapped in foil and a paper sleeve?

The US also had salted caramel, apple pie, gingerbread, chocolate pie, blueberry muffin, sweet potato pie, orange creamsicle, cotton candy, and cherry cola as limited flavours. We still have the gross hazelnut though.
The US has KitKat made by Hershey's. That's gross enough.
I love japanese kitkats, ordered a big box of about 30 flavours online a few years ago.
Definitely should have got the UK on here too. We have some unique kitkat products

I'm curious how Kit-Kat tastes in the US, as it's made from Hershey and not Nestle like the rest of the world. Does it have the sickly aftertaste like regular Hershey chocolate?
Ive tried both side by side for my videos and its definitely slightly different. To me the American Kitkat had a stronger cocoa flavour and was less sweet and less creamy than the Nestle version we get in canada !!
It doesn't taste good it has fake chocolate chemical taste first time I tried it when I moved here I threw it in the trash bcz I thought it was expired but then I found out it's different bcz it's made by Hershey's not Nestle
Yes. that nasty Hersheys taste is there. Definitely not comparable to the ones here in the UK.
I've had both in Canada and Hershey's version is vile and disgusting. Hershey's should just give up the rights back to Nestle. They clearly aren't even good at making their own chocolate.
