The main lines of this song is when the rapper came to song. The line describes all of our struggles and thoughts about life when he sang the lines "do u think ur boat has a leak?" " but i am seeing ur boat is okay".....thats the beauty. We all thinks others life is okay but only mine are in the trouble. I think it is fair to say, what I love about Bangladeshi music is that it has so many layers which incorporates a lot of deep rooted village folk music alongside modern musical sounds so that it caters for the older generation of Bengali folks who are traditionalist and grew up listening to folk songs and for the younger generation of Bengali folks who enjoy modern music so that way just by virtue of this, it brings the two generations together. Coke Studio Bangla also invites and welcomes non Bangladeshis who simply love the language of music and are open minded such as yourself to appreciate the efforts of Coke Studio Bangla and their diverse use of amalgamating different musical sounds and concepts together. Two members of the Dewan family: Sagar Dewan and Arif Dewan. Their ancestor is the original composer of the song Ma Lo Ma Zhi Lo Zhi. The song Ma Lo Ma teaches us that life is a continuous journey. Growing up and nostalgia are inevitably two sides of the same coin. Acknowledging this inevitable change, the song proceeds like a conversation. Here life is represented by the analogy of a broken boat and the world is represented by a river.

There are multiple ways to listen to a song. I personally always give importance to lyrics over the vibes, and in this instance feel like the lyrics is what upholds the song above other regular ones.
It’s just my way bro, I’m a writer and visual artist by nature so maybe my brain doesn’t work well with melody - but I think it’s important to enjoy different reactions for different reasons - not everyone will have the same views and thoughts.
