Shawn I’m definitely glad that you was able to get your buggy out finially after working on it for a little over 2 years!!! I’m sure that you was definitely excited to finally get to drive it and test it out for the first time!!! For no more than what went wrong I’d definitely say that you did an awesome job at building it for sure!!!! I think that the first thing I would do is definitely get that popping issue fixed and definitely get the timing set for sure!!! I think that might help with the over heating issue and also the popping issue!!! Definitely glad to get to see you out enjoying what you had been working on for so long!!! Can’t weight to see more of you out on the trail and seeing what it can do for real!!!! Awesome video buddy and remember keep up all the hard work buddy!!!!!

The new buggy has a certain quickness and lightness to the rear end. It looks like the video speed changes when it jumps up. It's so light God-bless you and your family Amen and Aloha.
Heck of a Shakedown cruise, couldn't take an easy trail first?!? Lol! Congrats, nice build ! Decades ago, we ran electric water pumps on our street/strip car, cooled down quick with the engine off. Understand they have variable voltage now, so y'all can control the rpm / flow rate... & a question, have seen a few dumping water onto the radiator, wonder if you could set up a windshield washer spray (or a pump up bug sprayer) to mist the radiator?? (portable swamp cooler, lol). Thanx !

Love the new ride Shaun apart from the power steering leak, oh and the fact it appears you can start it in gear which seems a tad hazardous to me mate. Mind you it's a good job you took tools with you because it started to fall apart half way round. 😂😂😂😂.
Shawn, your buggy is sweet. Just minor problems that they all have on the first run. Fix the minor problems and it's a runner that is going to stay with the big boys. Mike your buggy walks all over the rocks in a crawl. It's right up there with the boys big guys crawler. You get on Rory's bumper and you can stay there. It was a good day for the three of you and it looked like you just need to fix the little things.
110 degrees today really sucks a big one stayed in the ac for the peak heat, positive inspiration to see this video and right on time finish the day very cool way

It doesn't look like a new build. It runs like it is carburated. Glad you found a fix. Air down some. Starts in gear. The dead star makes a pretty good video platform. Half the Trailmater fanboys are adding a brake caliper bump stop to their left rear axle. Yeah, Shawn drives an automatic with two feet... as it should be. Anytime you don't have to call Trailmater for a recovery, it is a good day.
Pretty cool for a first trip. A couple minors and on to the upgrades. Looking good.
Buggy looks great, sounds mean, and no breakage. A few things popped up, but nothing broke. Pretty awesome shakedown
