This did not fix my problem. But it did. Only b/c I checked my spark arrester & it had green poking out of it. I proceeded to have to pluck an infinite amount of round leaves out with something gooey in them. No idea what would carry dozens of tiny, round, firm green leaves into my spark arrester. BUT...after using a paper clip end to pick them out and giving up, your torch gave me an idea.
I put in a long set of pliers and burned them. Took forever. I am STUMPED as to what critter would do it. Then had to pick out the burn crisps little by little. Like a pot head cleaning out his bong.
    It was nuts!!!

I have this great machine. Thank you for the excellent video and the links with the product codes! One suggestion is to check the spark plug for the proper gap. The proper gap is 0.020" on the Stihl BG55.

@cindythomley4286 Always check your spark plug gap for the proper gap with a gauge. Factory specs can be off. It is wiser to always double-check, especially as the engine size and value increases (e.g., on cars and trucks, etc.). All the best.

What you do to the carb?

Haha nothing this time. Ran good fuel and seems to be working well. Wait till after the winter. The old snowblower needs a carb cleaning. I'll try to film my vast lack of knowledge on that one.
