I'm in guard. I was literally like behind that thing in the back. And yeah, my name is Shanaya. It was fun. It was good, Monday 15 and yeah, so fun. I'm sorry it keeps saying sure. I don't know why it's being shirt.🎉

Could not agree more. We were aware of the fact that we were gonna get second at Champion of Champions since Blue Springs was gonna be there, but most of us were just excited to get so see them and perform against such a high level group. I was quite sad when I heard that they dropped. Us winning by four points for the second year in a row was a nice side effect though. Hypotheticals don’t diminish the experience of the players in the band, it stimulates interest and excitement in the activity. Also, how did you know that my band when to champion of champions? Did your band go as well? If so, which band are you in? I wonder if I saw you guys.

@@ThisisourYear-wt3md no I wouldn’t. I don’t think anyone would. But that’s not what I’m arguing here. First of all, I, and I would imagine most others, mean no disrespect to any of the groups that actually did win when you complement another group. When I make a comment such as this one above, im saying it to build up the group im talking to, not tear down the other successful groups. And honestly, on a broader scale, I think it’s good for marching band as a whole to discuss who everyone thinks would do the best and thing like that. That’s why sites like HornRank exist. It can a: expose people to more excellent shows beyond the 12 grand nats finalists, and b: it can help show designers and directors to make their programs better either by talking about what makes top groups great, and what slight differences there are that make certain groups slightly better, or if they direct those top groups, they can hear what the general community thinks about their group/show and how they can improve in the future. While yes, some feelings may be hurt, that is unfortunately something that inevitably comes with anything that has a competitive aspect to it. Where one group wins, another has to lose. When someone theorizes that one group would have won, that also means that they think another group wouldn’t have. I understand your point, I really do, but I don’t think that we should ignore the people on the receiving end of the complement, as they deserve to hear what the populace thinks of their show.

No question they would have been in serious contention had they went. Incredible demand and really clean at this point in the season.
