I grew up there and my mother worked across the street at Dusty's restaurants and my father fished out of Oceanside marina and also worked for Chuchu Perez #1 boat Manufacturing .
Absolutely love Boyd's. I stayed in a tent there for a week and some years later brought the family in our motorhome. Gorgeous place!

I looked up pricing. One I was looking at was $800 for the week. Plus a cleaning fee and a $290 delivery free. Not able to tow yourself? The delivery fee is a little higher than I expected when you don’t allow to pick up and drop off yourself.
I love Boyd's. Stayed there many times.
I always wondered why they didn't run electric to the waterfront tent sites. I had a battery with a solar charger for my fan. It was an awesome stay. I want to go back someday.

We were NOT too pleased with the water front, it was so nasty. My husband fished some but every time, he reeled his line in, it was covered in seaweed. He did catch a few small fish. My sister made the reservations and she thought it was on the ocean with a beach but that is not what we got. First time to the Keys was very disappointing
To be honest, I could actually live at Boyd's year round...IN A TENT !

The most disgusting smell of raw sewage on our site!!! Not accommodating at all!! Attendant is a liar! 150 per night to smell raw sewage!!! Should have stayed at the Walmart parking lot!!! Will NEVER stay here again!!!!
Sorry to hear that . It is really hard to keep those weeds out and believe me they work hard on pushing this away from sites. It is common thing in Keys. Please understand that sometimes we fight with nature and there is not too much we can do. From the other hand... that's what makes Keys real.... It is what it is... Sometimes celebrities have smelly feet too . We are all humans! And Keys are all about being real. If you want perfection - book hotel in Brickell in Miami :-)
