I love Jimmy Page! He is the cause for tons of happiness in my life, not only today but going back 50 years to when I was just a kid! Nothing makes me as happy as when I get to listen to his music and watch him play it!!! God bless Jimmy Page with the very best of the love of God today!!!
A billion👍 that was unbelievable thank you for putting that up and letting me see that. Is there any more of this? Amazing seeing him do that and talkin about it. Thank God he's still with us
You’re very welcome, I’m glad you enjoyed it. I haven’t seen additional footage anywhere of this. I’ve seen Jimmy being interviewed about this event but no playing. My initial thought was to put this up until someone released an official clean copy but I’ve searched everywhere and nothing, so, i just left this up. It was awesome seeing him play legendary riffs and licks with the tools that he used to create them. Rock on 🤘
You’re very welcome. I planned on keeping this up until an official release was made but it’s been three years and I don’t think it’s gonna happen. Glad you enjoyed it 🤘
Wonderful hearing that bit of "Kashmir" with just his guitar! It is perfect the way the studio recording is but the guitar is really hidden (dare I say lost) in the mix.
I was there for this and the day before the opening of the exhibition I was invited by his girlfriend Scarlett who is a friend of mine to have tea at their hotel....a fantastic day!!!

Unless that was one of Jimmy Page's grandchildren, it should be sacrificed for 20 more years of Jimmy playing for us, and for peace and quiet for those who cannot stand the crying of children, at especially significant times that will happen only once.

Its a pity Gibson didn't have either of those Gibson instruments with the "Zeppelin era" pickups in them to analyse when they made the reissues. As such those guitars sound nothing like the Zeppelin instruments... Zeppelin is my favorite band of all time !!!! But that seemed like a sideshow from the circus. Why would he do that. ??? Maybe he had good reason does anyone know let me know
To hear those very familiar musical themes coming gently out of his guitar it just brings tears to my eyes. He’s given us so much music.

This man is a legend, sure can make them guitars sing! Never be anyone else like him, Period!!
When I was there, I watched this clip no less than 4 times. He has so many things in this exhibit. It’s fantastic.

Incredible. The things I have loved so much all my life are here for me. I'm humble. What a special treat.

yeah but did you see the way his fingers moved so quick in the 3rd stroke? We all still play it wrong and even myself I can't do that

His tone is just amazing, i like how raw his tone is

I think Joe Holmes is so amazing on his beat up fenders!
Where is the actual video, not the pirated version. Do they have a website that has the video. I hate pirated videos.
I wish they did cos i was hoping for a cleaner copy but it seems they never released this anywhere but that day at the Met on the screen.

Jimmy is God! I can actually prove it!
Think this is the last time Jimmy has been seen playing guitar. Doesn't seem to have any issue playing huh?
It's sad to see Page not practising enough.
That baby should be removed. People are so stupid to bring a little baby to an exhibit like this.
I went to see Page and Plant when my son was one years old and now that he’s older, he’s mad I didn’t take him with me.
