It all changed not long after 9/11. People simply forgot what it’s like to be a patriot, and the covid plan worked for them it made everyone even more separated and unpatriotic. I still remember waking up to the radio saying a plane had just cashed into a new York tower, I remember sitting on the floor rocking with my one year old on my lap while hearing them say the second one hit and hearing the terror in their voice when they said "THIS IS DELIBERATE, THIS IS A TERRORIST ATTACK ON OUR COUNTRY!". I couldn't afford cable so I could only listen and cry when I heard a female cut off a man in mid sentence and say "OH MY GOD! THE WHOLE THING IS FALLING! THE TOWER IS FALLING ONTO NEW YORK!" I don't remember much else that was said but I do remember the haz seen in the sky from where I was in Connecticut. Everyone who was alive remembers what they were doing and where they were on September 11, 2001. RIP to all who lost their lives that day.

It was unimaginable to me that the Chairman of Canter Fitzgerald was able to remarkably keep it together with the death of close to 700 employees. We will never forget. Blessings to everyone affected then, now and always.

The only way fuel could get to the lobby is down the stair wells! No mention of that in all the videos or first hand accounts. Please don't take me wrong..all of the lives that were lost on that day..are the same lives that we lose everyday all over the world including innocent Americans dying in the hands of police in America...what makes these 3000 lives any special than any other Life..all innocent people died in all over the world because of American foreign policy and intervention..why is that we don't remember or have a anniversary every year for those lives.. I'm sure everyone that dies in the world by choices America makes and America in the hands of police..have a story to tell about those individuals..anyone can you please make me understand.. please 🙏🏼 what make 9/11 special??

I can see that you are legitimately questioning this, so I will answer politely. I’m sure you don’t mean to disrespect the victims and what happened in that horrific day, and it’s a valid point that yes, every day we lose innocent people to police brutality, shootings, etc, but think.. you must know how 9/11 changed the world. The death toll, the horror, the impotence, was something really heartbreaking. I’m not saying that other attacks are not heartbreaking, but this day changed us all completely. My mom was pregnant with me for about 2/3 months in 9/11. Ofc I didn’t live that, but I cry every year because it’s such so much loss, pain, grief. It was a day that will be marked forever, it will be in the books for a long, long time.

Go zec Really? 3,000 do not die even in one year by the police much less one day. And what about all the criminals out there who cause so much crime and trouble?

Was she on the ground floor, waiting to get into the elevator, and the jet fuel ignited down all 80 floors and exploded out the lobby?
Or was she on a closer floor, and then ran out of the building once she got to the bottom? If so, I’m amazed she was able to get down to the ground floor whilst so severely burnt. Or did firefighters save her?
