Jim was a great pundit and commentator in his time but he said it was a bigger upset than Tyson v Douglas and now he is saying Ryan should fight Crawford ... someone check that man for Alzheimer's.
FACTS😂, PEOPLE THAT REALLY KNOW BOXING ,KNOWS IT WAS A 60/ 40 HANEY ,THOSE 6 AMETURE FIGHTS HUGE RYAN WAS COMFORTABLE WITH HANEY, DIDNT HAVE THE POWER SKILLS STREET AURA OF TANK,WHICH RYE WAS A LIL SHOOK OF, THEY WAS BOTH SUBURBAN KIDS WHO GREW UP TOGETHER IN THE AMETURE SYSTEM
It’s close Tyson was the undisputed WBA WBC IBF when he lost to Buster Douglas Haney was undisputed Lightweight champion and 1x super lightweight champion when he lost to Ryan.

I don’t think the 3lbs was that big deal. Haney blows up to 165lbs and Garcia blows up to 155-160lbs come fight night. Haney still had the weight advantage. Simply put Haney believed his own hype and Garcia was the better fighter that night and every night imo

I agree no rematch. Haney did not look good against Lomachenko and now against Ryan.
Its going to be a long road to get back for Haney. I agree with your Tio maybe he should consider a different trainer.
Ryan is in the driver seat. Fans are gonna want to watch him fight . Jim is right if you have a good left hook you are always in it. Im anxious to see who he fight next.
If he's smart he'd stay away from Crawford. Good fighters take away what you do good. That left hook might not be as effective with Terence.
Lastly I was kind of disappointed and felt bad about his grandkid. I hope Jim is able to take him to an event someday..

People should remember when Floyd came in overweight versus Marquez.
Details below. In Heavyweights it could be 20+ pounds in weight difference so not sure it really makes a difference.
During the official weigh in for their 144 lb bout, Marquez weighed in at 142 lbs and Mayweather weighed in at 146 lbs thereby incurring a financial penalty ($300,000 for each pound over 144 lbs) as he was 2 pounds over the catchweight.
