Most "blacks" in the US are of Indigenous Native American heritage NOT African. Many "black" slaves in the Caribbean came from the US NOT Africa and they were also sent to Europe as African slaves. Garvey was also a very good friend with John Powell the founder of the White Supremacist political organization: Anglo Saxon Clubs Of America. They supported Garvey with money so he could start his back to Africa, Black star line project, because they saw an opportunity to send "black" Indigenous native Americans from their own land and send them to a foreign land.
James Brown, Jimi Hendrix, Rosa Parks, The Jackson family and even Martin Luther King jr have/had black indigenous native American heritage. Search for Black Dutchs (crypto/converted Jews/muslims) Wealthy black merchants and traders from Europe that immigrated to America in the 1700 cetury from England & Ireland and started plantations both in the US & the Caribbean. They had both white and black slaves that they sold. Look also for: Indentured servants, Free blacks and whites that came to the US in the 16,17,18 century also from England & Ireland
This whole comment is so uninformed and ignorant. You probably believe the earth is flat. For your information, Marcus Garvey wasn't trying to get every American African to go to Africa, plus Marcus Garvey wasn't good friends with John Powell. Also, how can you be a white supremacist and be good friends with a black person.
