Hi! The Feeling is definitely one to puzzle over, hahaha. Here's some observations I've read/stuff that people have generally agreed on:
- Throughout the video, there's differently shaped shadows behind or under Taemin, Key, and Onew. The shadows correspond to the design of the The Story of Light album (the square, triangle, and circle), their first release after Jonghyun's passing.
- The plastic bags are accumulating all the negative things they've faced over their career. When the large bag breaks, it means they're throwing all that negativity away and are finally feeling free.
- Each member has a corresponding "sense" of feeling. Onew's listening to music (hearing), Key's eating his apples (taste), Taemin's crushing an apple under his heel (touch), and Minho's using his map to try and find the other three at the start of the video (sight, and him searching for them using the SHINee World map is referring to the group being separated by the military/working solo until they're reunited). There's no scent of smell in the video, but one of the pieces of merchandise sold at the SHINee Anniversary Pop-up Shop was the 525 Perfume, which the members themselves called "Jonghyun's perfume."
- The beam of light at the end is referring to Jonghyun; the MV staff actually tagged it with Jonghyun's IG handle in a recent post. There's also a gap between the members when they're running, which seems like it's meant to be a space left for Jjong. (Some of their recent choreos have also looked like they've been made for five people, not four, and full cams show spaces where a fifth member would be.)
If anyone's got any other ideas, please feel free to add on!
At the beginning when Taemin is alone, there’s only 1 bag, but as other members join him, other bags join too. My guess is the big bag of recycling are Shawols showering them with love. I also think it’s different plastic recycling as everyone is different, just like all the SHINee plastic bags ore different colours. That’s what I got from the MV anyway.

Their Track Videos are fantastic. Their MVs are phenomenal.
*NewJeans* is an amazing group. I love their music. I love their voices. Their voices are beautiful. Their dancing is impressive. Their MVs are very interesting.
I love *Stray Kids.* I love their music. Their songs/tracks are fantastic. Their rapping is insane. Their vocals are beautiful. Their dancing is top-tier. Their M/Vs or Music Videos are insane.
I love *IVE.* I love their music. I love their concept. Their music is iconic. I love their songs/tracks. Their songs/tracks are great. Their discography is flawless. Their title tracks and B-SIDES are really good. Their MVs are top-tier. Their singing is awesome. Their dancing is amazing. Their rapping is dope.
I love *SEVENTEEN.* I really adore them. I really appreciate them. They are great. Their songs/tracks are great. I love their rapping, singing and dancing. I love their MVs. Their [M/Vs] are visually stunning. Their [MVs] are top-notch.
*NMIXX's* music is top-tier. Their songs/tracks are immaculate. Their dancing is phenomenal. Their vocals are amazing. Their rapping is impressive. Their visuals are great. Their concept is fascinating. Their M/Vs are intriguing.
I love *Red Velvet.* Their songs/tracks are phenomenal. I love their singing, dancing and rapping. Their vocals are insane. Their concept is interesting. Their MVs are mysterious.
I love *Dreamcatcher.* I love their tracks/songs. Their concept is amazing. Their discography is top-tier. Their MVs are awesome.
I love *EVERGLOW.* Their songs/tracks are awesome. I love their singing, rapping and dancing. Their title tracks are top-tier. Their MVs are insane.
I love *KISS OF LIFE.* Their music is top-tier. Their songs/tracks are really good. Their concept is cool. Their storyline is something else. Their vocals are great. Julie's rapping is impressive. Their dancing is great. Their Music Videos/MVs are intriguing.
I love *ITZY.* I love their music. I love their songs/tracks. They are so versatile. Their love their rapping, dancing and singing. Their M/Vs or Music Videos are incredible.
I love *ATEEZ.* I love their songs/tracks. I love their singing, rapping and dancing. They are great performers. Their stage presence is phenomenal. Their discography is diverse. Their MVs are cool.
Okay, sorry for the separate comments but I finally finished the HARD part of your review. 😂 Yeah, interesting observation! There was a pretty large initial discrepancy between how Koreans and international K-pop fans regarded this song when it first came out. Koreans, especially millennials, instantly pegged it to 1st gen K-pop (groups like Seo Taiji and the Boys, and H.O.T., which SHINee would've grown up watching... and actually what some songs in SHINee's early discography were like) and you know how nostalgia works - I'd say it was popular in Korea pretty much right away. Meanwhile, a lot of international fans said the song sounded like it had been made for NCT. Which it hadn't, because SHINee received a demo, weren't happy with it, and reworked pretty much the entire thing until it became this title track, which also delayed their comeback by a month. But, yeah... different frames of reference, I guess?
In any case, SHINee did an amazing job performing it (as SHINee does with the performing aspect of things) and I'd say most opinions have converged to simply "this is a great song." HARD's won five music show awards as of today, only one less than Don't Call Me, and the most by any SM artist so far in 2023. Not bad for a 2nd generation group fresh out of a military hiatus.

Trash (negativity) turning into something beautiful is what comes to mind. Haha haven't seen other theories yet but maybe that's it as the map grows bigger so is their experience. Bad stuff can also be something wonderful at the end depending on your perspective. Since it's a part of life and you can learn from it.

It is November the 21st 2023 this video says it was made four months ago July! Show July why no BTS content why where the hell is the music videos from V's solo album, Jimin's solo album and since it's from four months ago of course you wouldn't have the record-breaking music videos on songs from Jungkook's solo album. Even black African Americans on CZcams calling Jungkook the King of Pop instead of Michael Jackson. Jong kook released a song titled SEVEN and it has gone platinum. his album golden debuted at #1 on the Billboard Hot 100. But so did V's and Jimin's albums. Not one single video from BTS 10th anniversary festival celebration all the special content they released extended longer festival from May 31st through June 17th, 2023, during the same time period Agust D's D-Day concert tour was happening. You couldn't even watch and post a video on CZcams of J hope and Jin who are now in the military being at Agust D's last concert.
She left the channel for a while because she was pregnant and she should be back soon
