Tugboat sinks in South Lake Union, spilling over 100 gallons of diesel fuel

No one was on board the houseboat when it started to sink around 4 p.m. on Saturday.

CORRECTION: the location of the diesel spill is North Lake Union, apx 1/4 mile east of Gas Works Park, adjacent to the Sunnyside Ave N. boat ramp… not South Lake Union as per the title.

Boats should not be allowed to carry fuel, especially if they are going to sink.
