If the guys want to play LIV, fine take your $ and go away. Why do they want to play on the PGA Tour anyways? They have all said that this allows them to play less golf and spend more time with their family. Well, they have to play a minimum of 13 events to keep their PGA card add that to what I am sure that LIV makes them play a minimum amount of events [ 14 total next year ]. Well, that would be more events then they play now. As for the PGA tour side, why let these guys play both? All that means is they would only play the bigger events [ which most do anyways but they still play some of the smaller events ], so the middle to lower events will get hurt with fewer fans and sponsors won't want to put out the amount of money without there being any big names. As far as world ranking points, the LIV isn't a sanctioned tour so there can't be world ranking points to be had. Why does anyone want to watch anyways? It's exhibition golf at best, most guys are getting paid more for showing up than the prize money earned for playing [ as a side note I don't think anyone should get an appearance fee on any tour for showing up, that's not a level playing field]. all of the events are the same, so nothing prestigious about any of them. Just a bunch of multimillion dollar glamour boy prima donnas out for a casual round of golf.

The other gent and I asked a few questions and I asked, "Is David Feherty really as weird as he seems on TV?" he smiled, nodded in the affirmative and said a resounding, "Yeah." The same is true for Trevor Immelmann, he was retired also. Now he is playing again. Mark O’Meara has been on the Champions tour for along time.

Dan I been a huge fan since your early days at ESPN & beginning of The Dan Patrick Show. But today I have to disagree with your view of LIV tour. Let me ask you this question: How can other soccer leagues around the world compete with the Premier league? Correct they can not. Therefore you have other soccer leagues like the Mexican league that pays their players well and other soccer players could play in any league of their choice. Why is the PGA now making a big deal & suspending players who participate.
Seems to me that all that joined the LIV know what they are doing and they want us to look through our fingers with a thumbs up. Can't do it. Gotta draw a line somewhere. I'm trying to understand it.
