With MC's Shabba, Skibadee and later MC Yankee.
Recorded live on Saturday the 14th of September 1996, and ripped from my tape pack.
I would love to upload side B of this recording, but my stupid Fisher Price tape deck decided to eat the cassette, ruining it ;(
To be fair, the tapes been rinsed regularly over the last 14 years, so it done well to last that long!

I was at this, i remember the bouncers going on stupid, setting the dogs on the men's que forcing us to push back against a drinks van. other than that was a good night. 1993-1999 was my era of jungle.

I remember this was my 1st jungle rave.outsidexwaitung to get in the crowd was getting restless and security was setting the dogs on the crowd of people.
We eventually got in.it was amazing night.all those bk to bk sets for adrenaline village opening night

I went to Adrenalin Village the day before this rave for the Dream Fm all-nighter as my mate was more into happy hardcore. I had towait for the Jungle sets from Andy C and Hype. At least the 3rd arena had Nicky BM and others playing some 93 style jungle and hardcore!

This is what it's all about. Jungle/Dnb seems to have lost that funky sound and a lot of the soul. I still love it to the bone and have a great time at raves but I'm too young to have been into this in it's hayday.

This wasn't the early 90's tho, this was the Jungle sound of 1996. The MC's in 1996 are what made this genre such an exciting scene, things had moved on from the early hardcore and house days of 1991-93
