It's tough seeing Alexi in such a state.
He used to be this force of nature on stage, but it's like a dementor sucked out his soul after he started cutting down on his drinking - kinda weird?
He is still an absolute beast on guitar, no denying that talent. I just wish someone would help him before it's too late 😞
He's getting that weight up a again. Trust me he looks better and performs better compared earlier this year
@@gamedog3104 His guitar playing is much better. But he looks just as sick as he did some years ago. He looks like he is either a drug addict, or suffers from anorexia

Thing is, alcohol provides a lot of calories so when allu was drinking himself into a stupor he didnt need to eat a lot. Now that he doesnt drink, his body isnt getting the calories he used to get when he drank.
@@tfbytslols8426 That makes a lot of sense, and could definitely explain Alexi's current state. I hope he starts eating again, as it cannot be healthy to keep this up...
He is back! Looking much better now, he will be as good as new very soon
LOL He's had thyroid "issues" for over almost 6 or 7 years. It's not his/your thyroid that makes people look terrible/different sometimes.
@@aanddone4747 actually, yeah thyroid issues make you lose weight. jus learned that from a friend with gaves disease..she said, "your body is in flight or fight mode all the time and you're shaky and lose weight and have heart issues. More than that but that's the gist"

I cried when I saw him, the tone of his skin, his face is recovering but most important his fucking energy is back.. he is simply a Warrior... excuse me for the expression but those are eggs !!!

Dunno what's happening here but to me it looks like Alexi is battling something dark... real skinny, no strength in his hands for solos... hope the dude takes some time off now that CoB will have to be reformed and gets better
pretty sure he went vegan, alot of vegans seem to end up emaciated looking eventually

No it didn’t !! The man is still solid specially the last 3 years he’s been better than ever!! Can play solos better than the entire metal scene. You just needa clean your ears 👂🏼

I was thinking of going to this festival just for CoB but damn they look uninspired and bored, like they don't want to be on that stage....glad I decided not to travel half the country in the end.
It's probably mostly the edit. Over the whole show they seemed to be having a lot of fun

@@pinterakos3349 This Road is supposed to be about the touring life, that kinda says it all. I just hope it'seither the editing of they just had to get back into it, this was the first show of the tour.
@@NeiloNeil i was at the first show of the tour in Québec city, same bored face, same energy. They actually sounded good, but I've seen them before and it seemed forced.. Maybe a break would be good for them
