I was a FIFA fan all these years and now that I've switched to PES (2017) I can safely say it's much more fun. Player animations and ball physics are way more realistic. Shots and passes feel much better and player oriented, it's not a random hit or miss system like FIFA where goals go undeserved and misses go painstakingly bad despite the player doing everything right. Having played on legendary on FIFA, I can definitely say that PES on the hardest difficulty requires more tactical/creative effort and faster playmaking capabilities. The sense of achievement after a goal is nothing like I've ever felt after scoring on FIFA. Players with different skill/physical attributes feel significantly more varied than on FIFA. Same goes for team styles, and selecting the suitable defensive/attacking tactic to turn the tides on an opposition who is dominating you is something you'll never get in FIFA.
