    Kobe Bryant
    Hidden Gem Full Highlights (Rare)
    LA Lakers vs Phoenix Suns
    January 4, 2003
    America West Arena
    - 37 pts, 7r, 7a, 4s, 1b / 15-32 fg, 0-8 3pt, 7-9 ft
    (Game 33 of 82)
Through 32 games, Kobe’s numbers stood at 26.7p, 7.6r, 7.2a, 2.1s and 0.9b on 44-32-82 (%) in just under 42 mpg. He’d compiled double digit rebound totals in 10 of the initial 32 and double digit assists in 9 of them. His well-rounded play was the result of Shaq’s early season absence, along with the team’s lack of overall production from notable role players. Having just entered the new year, the Lakers held an incredibly disappointing record of 13-19.
This January 4 matchup in Phoenix was Kobe’s only game of the 2002-03 season in which he posted a stat-line of at least 35 pts, 5 reb, 5 ast and 4 steals. He shot 15-24 from inside the arc, but missed a season high 8 attempts from deep. Kobe avenged the poor performance 3 nights later, putting on one of the greatest long distance shooting displays in league history with his record-setting 12 three pointers against the Sonics at Staples.

Thank you Dom! There was nobody as gifted offensively from that 2000's era. That's saying a lot considering the number of great players in the league at that time.

Young Kobe pre knee injuries was a menace on the defensive end. I feel like he was so offensively gifted that his defense gets overlooked. The man was legit the best defender in the league at his position for over a decade. That's impressive considering how much talent the SG position had in the 2000's Era.

this video is evidence that shaq and lebron could never win rings together. shaq cloggrd the paint and lebron is a drivibg player. Had lebron pulled middies like this, the lakers would lose every game. bron's style and shaq's style could never mesh well togrther. kobe legit played outside the key so that shaq can do what he wants in the paint.
