This thillana is from LIVE performance of Sridevi Nrithyalaya under the auspices of Kartik Fine Arts held at Narada Gana Sabha Mini Hall on Jan 24, 2018 Our copyright policies on SDN's productions
Since SDN is run by SRIDEVI NRITHYALAYA TRUST, all the productions of SDN, be it music or dance, become intellectual property of the Trust. Sridevi Nrithyalaya Trust (SDNT) owns all the productions and will not allow anyone to download or use SDN videos/audios, even if it is meant for non-commercial purposes.
With able legal guidance, our team works meticulously in curbing audios/videos of Sridevi Nrithyalaya that have been used in unauthorized ways and uploaded on social media. Though we do not put up copyright declarations in all our videos, we strictly adhere to legal formalities and procedures regarding copyrights.
We work hard and spend a good time and amount of our resources to produce our music and dance videos. They are produced and uploaded on our social platforms solely to take our art to all those rasikas around the globe who are unable to reach us in person to enjoy SDN's art live.
It is not about 'misuse' or 'trying to support' our dance and audio productions by just giving credits. Art is for all, for sure. Our productions uploaded on social media platforms are for the art lovers worldwide to WATCH and ENJOY but definitely not for copying or reproducing without SDNT's authorisation.

This is the good part of the internet. We get to see these wonderful, talented Traditional dancers doing traditional dance to their music that most people never got to experience before the internet! Thank you for this! Your music and dance is exquisite and touches me into my soul.
If only the amount of work created not only great footwork but also bodies that impact on being graceful.Which they definitely do not have.....graceful dancing always better appreciated than flawless technique.

Despite your attempt to present your opinion as an objective fact, as indicated by your usage of the word "definitely", it remains subjective/opinion. Even more so if you are not a bharatanatyam guru, specifically of the tradition associated with the natyam, recognised by their peers.
And for as "objective" as this matter can get, all 3 dancers in the video are awarded and graded bharatanatyam dancers recognised widely by expert peers in the tradition and, far, far less importantly, by national secular institutions too.
All of that pales into irrelevance in the face of the fact that they're of a natyam lineage of authentic Shri Vidyopasakas, which establishes them as full and correct representatives of true Bharatanatyam from the moment their Guru steeped in the tradition thinks they are so. Does your poor opinion of them even matter when it is so _very_ immaterial?

FYI, Harinie Jeevitha has been universally and unanimously voted as the best... incomparably the best Bharatnatyam dancer of present age. Bhairavi Venkatesan is a formidable dancer too, as is Mridula Sivakumar. Before you comment about their grace, why don’t you just try to hold your aramandi for hours like they do.

He was incomplete and therefore incorrect to forget about Umashiva. Perhaps he left it at mentioning Vishnu because the current song is about Sri Krishna and gopikas and so he just kept to the theme, instead of listing all the relevant Hindu Gods behind all Hindu dance, song, music and drama.
Even though all Hindu traditional dances are closely associated with Shiva, Kuchipudi like some other Hindu dances in the south and throughout Bharatham is likewise closely connected to Vishnu. Also, Bharatanatyam is danced by Nataraja's entire family: his wife, and also Ganapati who is prominent in Bharatanatyam as a supreme Dancer, and Murugan too is depicted as promoting the dance by performing it. Vishnu is also Shiva's family, in several ways. As per Hindu scriptures, such as கூர்ம புராணம், especially Hindu scriptures important for Shaiva Hindus, Shiva and Vishnu are one, which is also revealed in their roopas as ஹரிஹரன் and ஶங்கரநாராயணன்).
In Hindu tradition, Vishnu dances too: விஷ்ணு அவதாரம் Mohini Ambaal (his தேவாத்மஶக்தி), who is ஶிவபத்நீ and thus also Shiva's தேவாத்மஶக்தி, resides in Shiva's வாமபாகம், exactly where உமா does (and உமா is also called மோஹிநீ), which is the side of ஹரி in ஹரிஹரன் and of நாராயணன் in ஶங்கரநாராயணன்.
Mohini Ambaal dances also, as known from மோஹிநீ பஸ்மாஸுரன் கதை. (Refer to czcams.com/video/pMV8gxVxvvM/video.html where Mohini dances Kuchipudi, though overall it looks like யத்ச கான.)
As is also the case with உமா, Mohini being ஶக்தி (ப்ரக்ருதி) and ஶிவபத்நீ, Mohini Ambaal needs would dance the லாஸ்யம் which is the ஶக்தி form of bharatanAtyam to go with Shiva's தாந்தவம். (Or by virtue of being in Shiva's வாமபாகம், Mohini always dances when Shiva dances.)
Besides that, Sri Krishna is regularly described as dancing with the Gopis. Then there is kaalinga narthanam, where Sri Krishna again dances, which some describe as a தாந்தவம்.
The real situation that Krishna Verma could have mentioned in making his comment "Vishnu blessed southern Hindus with such beautiful divine faces and dance" is that, although Shiva is the root of all the sacred Hindu dance forms, all the Hindu Devataas are still worshipped very prominently in the country and very obviously in its south (including by such means as our Hindu natyam, drama and sangeetam forms) and all the Hindu Devataas continue to bless the bhaktas with the sacred Hindu கலாs that are closely associated with Themselves and the sAdhakas among the bhaktas with ஸாரூப்யம்.

Pure athleticism. The dancers halfway into the dance are sweating and breathing rapidly. Amazing.
Thillana is a fast paced musical piece at the end of a performance to set a tempo, like an estatic moment at the end. It consists of jatis or repeated syllables and some words to end a performance with a sharp enthusiasm much like a climax
All the girls are superb, but even in that realm there are standouts. THESE THREE are my favourites. Venkatesan the most graceful, effeminate, and looks to be having the most fun. Sivakumar is completely LOST in the love of what she is doing. Harinie all round A's big movements and excellent expression.

For a bhakta such as myself, this is pure aanandam for eyes, ears and ஹ்ருதயம் again. நன்றி ஶ்ரீதேவீ ந்ருத்யாலயா. ௐ நமோ நாராயணாய.
For this piece it's impossible to achieve perfect synchronicity and symmetry as a trio performance. Individually I'm sure each of them will be able to do a fine solo.

I'm intrigued not only by their dances but also by their beautiful outfits. they're wearing white pants with golden accordion-like shawls or maybe part of their outfit open up when they open their legs. I am fascinated by the construct of that accordion-like fabric into their costume ! 😍💐👌🌿
Those are not to be thought of as pants even though they look like it. They are to be taken as sarees that are put on while engaged in carrying out such traditional spiritual activities like temple dance (to keep away modern encroachments as far as possible) ;-). Traditionally putting on unstitched clothes is regarded as apt. It is an ancient indo-european thing (consider Greek & Roman clothing). These costumes are an imitation of unstitched clothes (that are stitched for making them user friendly in keeping with modern times) regarded to be fit to put on in such occasions. The accordion like folds are the extra cloth (remaining after one ties the garment at ones waist) which is pleated and tucked at the waist.

Most of them are amazing, Many of them make me wonder how the human body is capable of the level of rhythm, fluidity and perfection.
