So then guys, it was a super busy one for us this week! A very busy one in fact! We had plenty of fencing installs, and the last job of the week was to replace a fence that was stolen... yes... STOLEN! Can you believe that? Who steals a fence, lol.

did they steal them or did they just take what was there's with them? not all landlords look after there property's meaning the tenants take things into there own hands. I fully landscaped a rented property with the landlords permission fencing decking you name it looked amazing the landlord messed me about with repairs to the house etc so you better believe all that fencing and decking came down before I left not that I wanted it. it all got chucked I just didn't want him to have it and add value to his property threw my hard work and expense

Whilst working as a foreman gardener, in 1980, we had nearly finished laying an area of turf, but bad light stopped play. When we came back next morning to finish, were amazed to find that about half of the turfs we had laid the previous day had been stolen!! They did get replaced, but not at our expense. Where we live now there was a new housing estate that was built. The show home went on display and within the week, somebody had stolen the garden including the water feature. ( 2009 ) This just proves that if you cannot put up a good fence then get these fellows in as they can!!

Being friendly always works wonders 😊 I had quotes for some work last year and one guy was obviously talented and his quote wasn’t too bad but boy did he rub me up the wrong way (just the way he spoke to me etc!) and I knew I wouldn’t be able to stand him being in the house with me for 10 days 🥴
Nowt wrong with a lunch time power nap ! Unless you're working poor old Taff too hard Stevie. Cracking job though ! Regarding thievery, the previous owners of our house stole all the lighting ceiling roses, leaving bare wires. Our solicitor billed them a hundred quid, fifty for us. fifty for him. The replacement roses cost us a tenner, proof positive that thieves rarely prosper ✌❤ Bob.

Witnessed a renter take everything possible... range, refrigerator, light fixtures, clothes line (poles and all) , etc. New owner drew the line and wouldn't let them have the bathroom fixtures and kitchen sink, although they did try! 😄

Tbf that’s 90% of British folk do that on jobs. I Always get offered a brew when working in or outside someone home and some times a bacon roll and biscuits on a good job.

Stealing a fence is small change, I've known sheds, prefab garages, upvc doors and the entire rear roof slates off a large victorian house, delivering mail for over 30 years you find out a lot, nothing surprises me, great work fellas and nice seeing your guests 👏 👍
