When a company is fully transparent and shows their work on youtube weekly they have nothing to hide and are truly honest, envy creates hate, if his business was successful as he believes he would find someone who would other him great prices depending on bulk orders. Sometimes you have to decide to stop discounts if the discount is eventually hurting your business. As proven youtube brings new customers and allows anyone to see you work and attitudes towards staff.
I've watched enough of your videos to know the only problem with D & J Projects is.... I'm not closer to you. Like your work and like your attitude towards customers. Rise above it, do not sink to the level of a jealous person.

I shut my business in march 2020 lads and I've had nuggets writing Google reviews that I've we've done them wrong in 2021 and 2022 when we weren't even open blaming us for other companies mistakes ha crazy world I could go on and on ,but you lads are in business so you know what some people are bitterness eats them up unfortunately ..I love watching your vlogs your business and the people involved in it are marvellous so don't let them get you down .keep up the good work folks .

As has been said before, rise above the pettiness. You have shown thousands of people honest, hardworking folks at D&J, and in the end, that is what truly matters! When I manage to get to the U.K., I will make a pilgrimage to D&J just to see it in person. Though I don't comment, I am a loyal follower and viewer. I appreciate the genuine aspect, good days or bad, you all are yourselves 100%, and the bad days don't mean you slack on the work you are doing for the customer. This is the thing that makes the difference and you folks do this every job. Thanks to all of you for all you do.

Jealousy is always a funny thing, they can't emulate what you've done do try and attack it.
Tip when trying to pull treestump or lever anything upwards, Place a bigish peice of wood on the ground close to what you are trying to lever up, then just use the block of wood as a fulcrum with your shovel. Remember to get as close to the object to give yourself maximum leverage
[I can picture you all laughing at this before I finish]. I have a similar type of fencing at the back of my bungalow, and I can't remember how often the wind had worked on the middle of one or two panels. It didn't quite make a U shape, but it WAS enough to pop them out, and more than once. I think it was replaced once, and again there was something missing. It wasn't until a third installation, that someone remembered to add a rail along the top, to stop the bending.
Shame on him ! Decent good people at D&J doing a great job . Jealous of your success at 2 clock in morning ! ! He needs to man up , if he had a problem he should have talked to you . Wishing you all well guys 👍👍👍

My husband watches you all the time and says what a great job you do and the pride you have in your work. We are in Sussex and it’s a pity you are not local. Do not worry about the haters you will always get them as they are jealous of the work and great installations you carry out. The proof is in the pudding with regard to the repeat business you get.

Honest opinion? I flipping love the channel!!! You guys are always so smiley it’s infectious. And I love the work ethic. Like for example when you’re doing fencing and you don’t just whack it up but take care on how it looks and making it symmetrical like on that bungalow job recently that’ll have raised areas. You seem to really care your customers. But sadly you’ll always get the idiot plum like that guy. Not worth your breath. 99.999% of people love you focus on that. As a OG to D&J projects, and a customer on a few occasions I am not a trader but the grabs I’ve had price’s are is very competitive (good value) they came when they said they where coming if not earlier, I have meet both Dave and Steve and the review about D&J dose not in any way show a true representation of the way they do business my experience with there company has always been A* and that is all round! From start to finish.

Dave I feel you are handling things the right way. My best suggestion is contacting this person through a solicitor. And then take them to court for damages. You need to stop this from escalating any further.

Keep your chins up guys, your reviews are brilliant. Had a look at Ace fencing reviews and there are some unhappy customers. The main complaints are that he doesn’t turn up and you can’t get hold of him. A few unhappy with the quality. You don’t force people to shop at D n J, and at least you bring prices down when you can. Anyway really enjoy watching your videos while eating my chicken dinner. Kind regards Dave.

Every one knows that timber prices went sky high at one time, your reply was on point With reference to being a trader and or customer. I’m not sure if I would have mentioned the law breaking, but I can see why you and Stevie were so upset. Don’t fall into the trap of prolonging this dispute . I have watched almost all your videos, you all do EXCELLENT work , and your staff are 1st rate. I’m an ex-Pat living in the USA but I would use your services in a heartbeat . Keep it up guys.

Social media can be great for positive people and even if you aren’t happy you can be constructive. There is no place for mistruths in reviews that can be disproven . It’s just jealousy and at that time of the day probably as a result of drink. Keep on doing what you are doing , nearly 60k people like what you do. Your videos show the quality of your work.

Hi Dave & Steve. Yes I went through the samething in my business in Canada. I thought it was a customer at first but I found out it was competitor. He doesn't even do the same work as us but does sell same products but different brands. I had met him when he wanted me to GIVE him 3 large pieces of equipment and I was just starting out and couldn't afford to do that. He then went to another competitor and they told him to get stuffed. He then went and purchased from another company. He has posted negative reviews and complaints against us. When I found out I thought about approaching him and set him straight but he is an ass. It would also give him ammo, so I turned the other cheek. Now we are expanding and growing and it is eating him away. Just keep up what you are doing and ignore him. I find if we don't put others down and just worry about what we do - customers find out and come to us. Keep up the good work and ignore his drunken rage.😉
Amazing video as always, you know your doing something right when your upsetting someone, I’m more shocked at a business owner doing what he has done, there’s always ways to deal with disagreements, but making up malicious lies about a company, things like this can damage some companies slightly and that will be his biggest downfall, it will backfire and bite him in the ass, things you do when sitting full of drink and drugs at 2am,

There's always that 1 jealous trader . But to leave a review that is utter BS is beyond me. Team D&J are an honest bunch and very professional, Just look at all the other Google reviews and there CZcams channel.The work carried out speaks for itself. This jealous trader needs to remember that he could end up with 40,000 + negative reviews .
Jealousy is what it boils down to and you can rise above that. When you put yourself out there in the public domain you will always get criticised and there will always be internet warriors and trolls but remember they are in the minority. Love your channel you do a great job. I’d employ you if we needed fencing doing but we’re not in Nottingham.

It’s such a shame when people get behind a computer and write reviews they could have dealt directly, because of this , I think more than anything it shows the kind of person he is.
When people grow and are successful there are always jealous bitter people lurking from the side lines.
I think you were right to leave the review up. Anyone can see it’s your only 1 star and someone throwing a hissy fit about pricing when everyone knows Covid affected most areas I mean decking I used for raised beds were double the price the next year it is what it is. I think situations like this should be dealt with in a more adult manner shame on him! 😏

Wow, this guy hadn’t got the balls to talk to you face to face but he seems pissed off with you and your company going a cracking job and having an excellent customer service and loyal staff as part of the D&J family.
I know from experience of the hotel industry people put fake reviews on the hotel’s site and they haven’t even stayed there, they do it for something to do at 2.00am in the morning when they are board.
Hope this guy will man up and have a face to face talk with you as he could ruin both his own and your business by the way he is currently carrying on.

If you’re going to find better deals elsewhere, and only order from D&J a few times here and there, you should expect your bill to be charged at customer prices and not trade prices! I think it’s fair.

Guys, i work on computers so i never get my hands dirty on real work. i come on youtube of an evening when the mrs is watching EastEnders and have a thing for people and channels that are irritatingly skilful at what they do. You, father and son are one of these channels i have to watch. Don't stop please
the reply to the review was amazing i cant lie if someone wants to make stuff up about ur company when there are alot of facts they dont want in the public then let them out its pretty clear he wasnt happy because of the price increase even tho he dosnt shop there as much as he states he does which its just a normal thing for suppliers to give cheaper prices to traders who come in regular to keep them happy and help them out because they know their loyalty is what keeps the company running from day to day its very low to talk about prices pre covid for timber where very low and shot up after covid and are now slowly dropping and if he cant see that then thats his problem but he wouldnt of really got it any cheaper anywhere else also by the looks of it some of his recent work isnt up to standard and is anoying a few customers
