Volevo sottoporti un quesito circa la carta che utilizzi che non appare perfettamente liscia,ma,apparentemente ,semi ruvida,con un buon assorbimento.
Per i colori presumo i classici winson&newton,ma la concorrenza è molto ampia.

Love your paintings! As a beginner, I wish you would post the reference photo while you paint. I find that helpful to see how you interpret the painting. Gives me more ideas and learning. Thanks for sharing your talent.

Nice job! When you put the trees in the top part, it looked like you somehow turned black paint into white! Then after the paint dried, I realized it was the light reflecting off of the water. lol

Balintgomkoto1071. As an artist of 55 yrs, I know most painters of traditional art use a photo as a reference in some stage. A good artist makes it look a little different and better if he can... If he can. This is an example of pure beauty, yes, better than the photo for sure n very different. It's a joy. To actually paint it is a better skill than to criticize it... For sure. Lol... Opinions are many... Everyone has one. But this artist has something better ... The painting!
PS... I suspect you don't really paint much. If you did you'd know the sunlight will change a lot in 3-4 minutes. So a photo is the answer... Perhaps some notes n a very quick sketch at best. No one can stand in a snow bank for long, not to mention, paint this scene while the lights good. Or paint it from memory? What do you think he should do?

Beautiful beyond….I’m curious what that then brush was that you were using? It looked like you were painting black limbs on the tree but they started out white and then turned black. I couldn’t understand how that was happening. Thank you it was a joy watching

Like Dora, I feel I missed a step of yours somewhere on the white trees - did you use a resist? The way thwhite paper revealed itself with your downward stroke was confusing! Please edify! Thank you! Inspiring work!
Linda, I am also very curious about what happened here - it appeared magical, transforming right before my eyes. I seen him pick up a brown paint for the branches, yet on the base of the tree trunk it laid down as dual colored like a birch tree!
