Not quite, I think Nathan's scene in the previous episode (Target) where he tortures a suspect for information matches it for power and all out scariness. It's this double episode that shows us all just how talented Nathan and Stana are though and to be frank if either one of them looked at me the way they look at the suspects I'd be singing like a canary and requesting a change of underwear.
I agree ☝️ as this scene was AWESOME 👏. But I also think 🤔 what Castle did in the last episode was just as good, especially when he didn’t care if that guy pressed charges

Because this interrogation Beckett did, it’s almost expected of her to be like this, whereas Castle, it’s out of character for him to do that in the eyes of everyone who knows him. Even Beckett in a scene or two after, said to him “I didn’t think you had that side to you” basically meaning that what Castle did is not really something you’d expect from him. It’s one thing to beat the shit out of someone (like he did in season 1 or 2 when he beat the one guys face in) and to all out torture someone.
Love the way Beckett explodes in this scene, I think it’s a sign of all the emotions she was holding back while working this case, because obviously Beckett is worried about Alexis too, but she probably kept her emotions to herself for Castle’s sake, no doubt if Castle has caught any sign of Beckett losing hope of finding Alexis, then Castle would have lost hope too

The interrogation part of this scene is SO cool! It really gives Stana a chance to show that Beckett can be a tough and scary badass cop when she wants to be. The way the other chick's demeanor changes so quickly from tough and arrogant to completely scared and freaked that Beckett is gonna tear her a new one ANY second is what makes this scene so great!
An acting masterclass. She goes from calm to annoyed and then a second before she lashes out you can see the intent in her eyes change - and yet her face remained perfectly still through the change. Wonderful.
What is scary is not the sudden violence and anger, it is the calm tone she informs the dummy on the floor that she is not a cop today...honey...means landing on your ass is the least of your worries if your next answer is wrong.

I’m NOT THE ONE!!!” Detective Kate Beckett is by far the BEST detective to ever grace the screen in the history of television!!!” Love love love Beckett and Alexis’ relationship! This showed how much Beckett loved her and proved she had those mama lioness instincts towards her! Mess with Alexis Castle, and you’re DEAD! Meredith may have given birth to Alexis, but Kate Beckett was her Mom!
Of all my favorite Beckett moments (not including Caskett moments) this is my absolute favorite. I absolutely love how now since Castle went off she's free to let it loose how she's been feeling through this whole thing because while he was there she tried really hard to be strong so he wouldn't lose it and now she gets to snap! it was FRICKIN AWESOME! the girl deserved it though for calling her a bitch... Castle raised the stakes in the last episode when he "appealed to the driver's humanity" and Beckett is following his lead. Like other comments she has gone into wife/mother mode and she is trying to save her family.

Starting with a calm and pledging tone, then bang the rage and then it was calm again with a sheer determination and purpose. My favorite moments: bitch, kicking the chair, you!, honey and what?...
