- Good morning/afternoon/evening everyone!! Thank you for watching this video about my new (to me) vintage Louis Vuitton Randonne GM in monogram canvas. Here, I will share my unboxing of the return of my repaired bag to my collection.

So glad I found your video. I just dropped off the same bag to LV to replace all the leather. I am the original owner and had the bag since high school. In fact, my boys (18 & 20) now use the bag. I can't wait to see it. Don't think I'll let 'em at it when I get the bag back. Thanks for sharing!
How much will they charge for repairs?
@@Bone783 The repair took a while. I dropped off on Dec 2020 and it was ready for pickup earlier this month. It was sent off to France. Cost of repair was $700. All leather parts were replaced including luggage tag.
Can you do a video of what fits in your LV Randonnee GM? Can’t decide on sizes between the PM & GM 🙏🏻🙏🏻🙏🏻

Im late to the party here but i had been eyeing vintage Randonnee bags then came across your video. I freaking was obsessed! Anyway … I ended up winning one from a Japan eBay seller for $356. The bag is in overall great condition with a honey patina. A week later I won the insert pouch for $100 from the same seller and its in fantastic condition!
The bag cost a total of 456 USD. I’m going to use mine as a weekend travel bag because it fits a ton of stuff! I have to say, the new vachetta is absolutely beautiful… I am pondering……

How about the Louis Vuitton heat stamp on the back at the bottom of the strap? Did the vachetta replacement has it too or none? I planning to have a leather replacement too with the same bag but I heard I cannot keep the LV heat stamp.
Muy Bonito yes the heat stamp was still there!! Now as a reminder I had my repair done in Japan It was shipped out to Europe due to the hardware being replaced as well.the policy/repair process might be different elsewhere

Hi!! Since you’re In Japan can you explain why they have so many vintage pieces and why they sell them so much cheaper then here in the states?
So the Japanese take very good care of their items and sometimes sell them off to make room in their closets. Sometimes the Japanese market is flooded with a lot of similar bags so it drives the price down.
