As usual I went practically insane trying to do my own thing in blender. I just wanted my crowd to walk through the low ground fog and interact with it. As far as I know it's the easiest way is to convert those procedural people to real objects with their animation. I couldn't figure it out. I thought maybe saving out an fbx or something but you could tackle the best way of doing that so you can accept the crowd as effectors the smoke siml, or for any other reason in that would be marvelous!
I do have some questions about this addon. Can you add in your own crowds, like NPR characters? Can you add your own animations, like stepped animations?
Can you change the outfits or their custumes or add new characters that you made? Let's say, 1950's or medieval or ancient people (Egyptian, Greeks, Persian) set of characters that you can add to make into a proceduaral crowd? It's just modern crowds being shown in the example video.
Hey Justin, can you add mixamo animations with custom models like a soldier or clone troopers? That's what I would like to see.😊 It would make a lot of sense with the march crowd option.

Look very useful if you need crowds in your project. So it's nice that you did a easy to follow tutorial for those that plan to use the add on.

How easy is it to add your own models? Their tutorial for the old version seems a bit cumbersome ...
I've not tried it in the new version, but I believe it's still basically the same as what was showed before.
