Each day when I cut hair on the streets I meet amazing people with amazing stories. Stories that most people never get to see or hear. Stories that can warm my heart, and break it at the same time.
Rob was one of the kindest souls I met on the streets. He shares his battles with drugs, living on the streets, and finding a solace in art.

I've been in ministry for 27 years, much of what I do is outreach to those who are in need of food, clothing and hope. I've found that speaking a few words of hope can change a life. At 54 years old I have just started Barber school here in Texas. People think I am crazy, but it is another way to keep touching people and helping them find hope. Now I find myself hoping I am not too old to learn something new. Thank you so much for the inspiration, you are giving hope to more than just the recipients of your services. You have helped me have hope as well.
