Have a 41mm sub and bought a black bay 58 blue for a daily wear. Love them both!
Bought a black sub as a grail and a smiling Black Bay as a beater. Scratched it and realized that is no beater and bought an Invicta Pro Diver Smurf with Seiko NH35 movement. I feel like the pontiff...
I have to admit, the Rolex looks like a far more refined watch. I love this style of video Archie. So good.

Have a BB58 and Submariner which is one of my grails. Tudor actually gets more wrist time. In reality, Omega seamaster planet ocean runs circles on both and is alot of watch for your coin. Calibre 8900 especially. Metas certified, more anti-magnetic. Damn good watch...
Great watch and tremendous bang for buck. IMO the PO is just an anvil, though. Too heavy.
The PO doesn't have it where it counts: the looks. There's one in the window of my local AD and it's just so, meh; it's been there for ages and I bet,I could get a big discount on it, too. The bracelet doesn't look bad, though. I'd like that on the Seamaster better than the horrible bracelet Omega puts on that. As far as I know, ten million dial variations with all the special editions but no bracelet options...

A Submariner 116610LV Hulk just sold recently at auction auction around the 60k range? That's beyond stupid. Rolex makes great watches. Tudor does offer a date in the Black Bay line. The Black Bay Steel reference 79730. You get a steel bezel and it uses the movement from the Pelagos

Nothing necessarily, however that is rarely the case. Typically someone who can’t afford the Rolex buys the Tudor instead and then tries to convince themself that it is just as good or that they like it better. In reality, it’s nowhere near the same quality as a submariner

If a person that purchases a Tudor doesn’t understand at the beginning that it isn’t a Patek, JLC, IWC, Rolex etc...Then they are setting themselves up for a disappointment. Speaking for myself, I am not a fan of Rolex. But, I like what Tudor is doing and I buy them for what they offer.

I think if you get a Tudor to scratch the Sub itch then I think you'll aways feel unsatisfied personally I'd go for the pelagos over the black bay.

The only Tudor to get is this Black Eta version. The in-house is too thick and the smiley text is way nicer.
The only difference between the in house and the eta version is the case back sticks out on the in house. I bet you can’t even tell the difference of thickness once on the wrist.
Anyone with half a brain would have got an Omega Seamaster before the Chewdah.

Tudor is a solid watch. I do prefer the 58 or Pelagos though. Good diver to pick up if you don’t have an in with Rolex AD and don’t want to pay grey market leeches

Hi Arch, believe me or not. It is not always a question of money if one choses the Black Bay. I love the retro look and the burgundy bezel and thus I bought it. Nevertheless I agree that the clasp of the Sub is better and sometimes I miss that comfortable fine adjustment. On the other hand the Tudor does not cause envy as many people do not know the brand and I got to tell you that I really do appriciate this aspect. BR from Germany Uwe

buy smp300, Tudor is overpriced just beacouse the relation with rolex, and the gold details are cheap like the ladyboi that you meet in mixed nuts bar pattaya. Rolex is not real diver, nobody swim with it in the sea. Omega divers are the best all around watches, low key, tech, and luxury swiss
