This is one of the best recordings I've heard of this. I've heard so many performances from supposedly great pianists that just plod through and don't connect any thread or understand the architecture of the music, and as a result sound pretty horrible. This on the other hand is great.
I am very interested in whether this concert was successful. If it was done in your country or Japan, a certain degree of echoes are considered Alto. However, if there is a Zazen priest in Europe, it may be somewhat uncomfortable. In that sense, I am interested.
Haha! That's a unique response. But then again, given the vastness of the universe, somewhere else another might have responded similarly to Scriabin's counterpart on their planet.
Gorgeous!
그 무엇인가를 초월한 내면의 깊은 울림을 토해내는듯 합니다.감사합니다.
I was lucky to arrive here trough Scriabin and Monk 🙏🙏🙏
This is a total art in itself. The presence of a monk collect the sprinkled sound into one focus.
Yes indeed! Gorgeous!
This sonata succeeds and in HJs hands succeeds splendidly. I have a date to hear Yuja Wang play this in June in London. What riches!
It is truly awesome, i adore her
How could she memorised that scores?
perfect!
스님의 명상과 Scriabin의 소나타. 한국에서도 이런 공연이 가능 할지.

brilliant -- one of those wtf-sonatas. Not the pianist -- the pianist is G-R-E-A-T. Even greater, because she clearly gets this 'wtf-' by Scriabin.

Fantastic. The Well Tempered Scriabin. Just too many camera angles..
