2:02 This duel shows that Yugi is an expert duelist
"I shall summon my Kuriboh in attack mode!".
So i wasnt the only one to notice that
It was on purpose LOL he wanted him to attack the Kuriboh to set up the Spellbinding Circle trap
+Light Yagami I'm obviously joking and you kinda ruined the joke. And btw summoning Kuriboh in attack position is as stupid as yelling "I just set a trap for you, please fall for it!".
Don't be badmouthing Kuriboh lol Him and his five brothers will beat you lol.
Michael Marriott he don't know homie, I seen people with Kuriboh decks whip ass LOL
GX was the best spin off series
+Alex Ninten or would you call it a sequel?
+Alex Ninten sequal
What about 5ds
+Alex Ninten no 5ds was. it actually followed the fucking rules 90% of the time
Zexal
Joey versus Valon will always have a special place in my heart. It was the moment Joey learned he truly cared for Mai, as well as how far his talent as a duelist has come, to the point where he can take on a psychopathic soul stealer and win. Also, Atem was like a big brother to Yugi, so seeing them finally duke it out in the end was the story coming full circle and showing Yugi was ready to be on his own and forge his own future. But seeing Atem go after all they’ve been through together, well, let’s just say some tears were definitely shed.
I love how Kaiba’s last words in his duel with Dartz was “Don’t screw up”
Typical Kaiba :)
Oricalcos 1. Seto Kaiba Zip.
It really is ridiculous that they were still explaining the effect of Pot of Greed in the very final duel of the series.
main reason behind it encase any of new fans but why anyone watch the show from the end on their first time is beyond me
Every show needs a running gag
I mean it's the most complicated card in the game
Its called flexing
Pedro Pimenta 💯😂
Thinking about it, joey is actually a very impressive duelist. He almost defeated marik without using any egyptian god cards like yugi did, and the only reason he lost was because he went into a coma.
+Dylan Ma While Joey may've been impressive I wouldn't say him almost beating Marik would be a reason for that. Marik was basically stringing him along the entire time the only did Joey did that shocked him was being cooked like Thanksgiving dinner by Ra and was still standing afterwards.
+TheShapeH31 um....didnt you see after the battle marik threw up and thought to himself "i cant believe i almost lost to joey". While joey almost surviving Ras attack is impressive, what's more impressive is how close he was to defeating Marik.
All he had to do was say "Attack." It would have been game. I'm still upset that's how Joey lost.
Marik's reactions at the end and after his duel with Joey were from the shock of him surviving Ra's attack. If Joey had died right then and there like Marik thought than he that wouldn't have happened. Joey's good but his dueling skills weren't the reason for him coming close to a victory against Marik like so many people think. Even so that was to be expected. I never thought Joey would beat Marik, that was something Yugi was set to do.
+TheShapeH31 as long as we agree that joey is impressive
How is Marik vs Bakura not on here. Two villians facing off. That should of been top 5.
Cartman4wesome it’s legit the best duel in the series next to clash in the colosseum
It should be in the top 5
Should have
Silver King clash in the colosseum shouldve been 1 episode shorter tbh
Totally agree
Seeing atem vs yugi dueling after 5000 years fighting together and atem leaving with thumbs up is so touching...
Sucks. The pussy yugi stays and the good one leaves.
Hits me everytine
"Oh-bilisk" "Moe-Koo-bah"
...bruh
"Yam-e"
+Dank Salamander Friends sanctuary hahaha
Even 5-D-S at the beginning.
That killed me
+Dank Salamander "What were you geeks expecting?"
+Dank Salamander was like disappointed but not surprised
Yugi vs rafael, the only duel yugi loses, that shit was legendary
Ikr
+lightning crashes an old mother dies
One could argue that it wasn't really a legitimate loss given Kaiba was blackmailing Yugi/Atem by holding his own life hostage, knowing that Yugi (not Atem though) wouldn't have the heart to risk him being seriously injured or even killed just to win the Duel.
+lightning crashes an old mother dies That wasnt a loss that was Kaiba saying he was going to kill himself if yugi didnt let him win. and of course yugi didnt want to kill someone over a card game >_>
+R23P1C3V1L technically it was the Atem who lost and he loses twice, once each against Rafael and Yugi. Technically Yugi is the one who never lost lol but your right thats my favorite duel in all of the original series. Watching Yugi lose his soul never gets old lol
+R23P1C3V1L Yami also lost the ceremonial duel
I loved how a Yu-Gi-Oh battle would be like 6 episodes long lmao
Frieza would say ‘that’s cute’ 😂
I hated it when I was a kid had to wait a whole week before I know what’s going to happen next lol
LOL forreal hella long
@@dariuspaker7960 I feel that, It’s not like now or you have a streaming service that releases a whole season at once. So you can binge it. Back in the day we had to wait a whole extra week for a new episode and you only had one chance to catch do you have to catch the airing or hope they re-aired it.
Not all of them some are 1 or 2 episodes
Marik vs Joey is a underrated duel. Joey deadass was one attack away from winning before collapsing. He even tanked a blast from the strongest Egyptian god card. Watching Joey over the series, he really became the underdog
Closest thing yugioh has acknowledged death during a duel?
What about the time Yugi fought that Magician dude and everytime they lost life points a buzz saw would come closer to them? Wtf.
They clearly didnt realize how edited the dub was
I think they're using the dub because the majority of the people who would see this list were those who watched the U.S. version of Yugioh which was *HEAVILY* and at times hilariously edited. The majority of the serious duels in the dub said if you lose you to the *"Shadow Realm"* while Yugi vs. Yami Joey outright said loser dies.
LordWellington35 in that one, 4kids edited in purple around buzzsaws and made up the shadow realm. In the original cut anime it was just a buzzsaw that would have cut off their legs and made them bleed to death.
LordWellington35
1.) it's japanese show
2.) subs titles bitch
LordWellington35 you can understand what the Japanese actors are saying if you glance down at the subs while not be a lazy, whinny bitch about it.
And the voice acting is much better for most characters in the Japanese version, pretty sure you only need to know how things are being said not what they are saying to say something has good voice acting.
Yugi and Kaiba vs the masked ghouls is one of the best duels and nobody seems to remember it.
Daniel Franco way too underrated
Loomis & Umbra were interesting
That's my favorite duel not because of the duel itself but because we got to see yugi and kaiba work together and I absolutely LOVED seeing that.
If you mean Kaiba managing to make it all about him lol, but yes, the duel between Lumis and Umbra was a cool one.
You mean against lumis and umbra
How can you guys leave out the one duel that started it all?
Kaiba & Blue Eyes White Dragon vs. Yugi & Exodia the Forbidden One
Exodia... OBLITERATE!!!
Bro it was a boring battle
I won’t have it as my top ten but top 25 yes
Came back to yugioh recently after being in love with it as a kid and everything was nostalgic on a new level. So after seeing atem vs seto not at 1 or even top 5 is astonishing
Marik was the best bad guy, i was scared of him as a kid. he was pure evil, I truly didn't think he could be beat. I thought the show would end & he would plunge the world into the shadow realm 😂
***** draw two cards? Haha something like that
Joe H. Yes, after all he is Melvin! Master of doors!
Hahaha this comment killed me and also brought me back to my childhood, hearing mariks laughter
Would've lost to Mai lol
Joe H. I have a lot of fun with this app and I love it so much but I love it so much I love
Yugi vs. Kaiba Episode 1
Exodia OBLITERATE, bitches!
Rayan BG
FlowerTrollSan defanaitly or I still can't spell
Honestly, watching that duel frustrated me simply because the rules that we know today (for example, only being able to summon monsters that are level 4 or lower without tributes) weren't all there yet.
That was how the game was meant to be played though it also followed table top rpg ruling logic.
Summoning Dark Paladin against Kaiba was the most badass moment
Rest in Peace to the amazing creator of this franchise.💔🕊
Hi what is better yugioh or Pokémon
@@Quinnregan digimon
Best video in a long time. The nostalgia trip was real :')
I have not, but it is/was on Netflix for a while and I binged the crap out of it.
ah the old yugioh was the best ~
+Aerovetic You've got that right so much Nostalgia. I found it hard to keep up with the series sometimes though. If I missed and episode I was like "DANG IT!" because I was young and didn't have my own computer or know how to use the internet for that matter. Xb
Too bad they called them battles and not duels.
Sadly the Yu-Gi-Oh! Duel Monster Card Franchise is own by the evil company called Konami! Fuck you Konami!
My favourite battle was definitely Yami VS Strings. During the battle city arc, Yami faces up against one of Marik Ishtars mind slaves. A mime by the name of strings, who uses cards like Revival Jam, and Jam breeding machine to act as sacrifice tokens to summon Slifer the Sky Dragon. then proceeds to draw cards like crazy to give him an insane amount of ATK and DEF points on Slifer. Yami was able to win, but only by triggering an infinite attack combo which forces Strings to keep drawing cards until he ran out of cards in his deck. The only duel in the whole show, where a player has won the match from the opponent running out of cards.
Also this is like an otk amirite
NVM
Edwin Vanderhaeghen Not sure what that means exactly. I never watched the show past the finale episode of Imtep VS Yugi, and iv'e only just recently picked up the gameboy advance games of yugioh since iv'e never actually played the game before.
+DKQuagmire That's my favorite too! The animation was amazing and inspired me to make a deck similar to Strings'!
LadyDemonSlayer on the gameboy games, i run 3 revival jam, 3 doron, 3 ancient lamp, 3 toad master... you can see where this is heading. basically a whole fuck tun of monsters that can either duplicate themselfs or summon others to the field. throw in lots of traps, and you'll get those Egyptian god cards out easy. Just watch out for Raiki and harpies feather duster.
One of my favorites was Atem vs Strings where we first see Slifer. This showcases another way to win a duel other than depleting lifepoints to 0
S5 is my favorite. And the ceremonial duel never fails to make me cry.
Yugi vs Kiaba battle city should've been in the top 3. That battle was just awesome.
+Tim Roth Tim gets it.
I would've put it in the top 5 but still I agree.
Totally agree, that battles caught my feelings the most
+Tim Roth I always preferred their duelist kingdom match.
+ninjaworshipper it was good, but yugi kicked kaiba's ass way too fast.
Fun fact: The voice actor for Weevil Underwood is currently the voice actor for Meowth and James in Pokemon.
I have a fun fact too: The voice actor for Weevil Underwood in the Yu-Gi-Oh Abridged series is the voice actor for Yugi, Atem, Tea, Joey, Tristan, Pegasus, Kaiba, Mokuba, Marik, Bakura, Yami Bakura, Bandit Keith, Ishizu, Rex, Odion, Duke, Serenity, Mako Tsunami, Solomon, Mai (up to waking the dragons). You know this is taking too long. Fun fact: The voice actor for Weevil Underwood in Yu-Gi-Oh the Abridged Series is the voice actor for everyone but Rebecca, Big Five, Noah, and Dartz in Yu-Gi-Oh the Abridged Series
cool.
You skrub its Insector Haga
Metaphorically speaking, that means Yugioh beats Pokemon numerous times.
Also Professor Oak and Gary too.
The last duel literally hit me right in the feels
Jasmine Dai fax
I cry every time
Goosebumps every time
Fax bro the duel that will never be forgotten
@@Alex-yr8iy really??
Yugi and Kaiba's semifinals duel must be on top 3! And where's Yugi vs Strings? that's the first time we saw atem scared and on his knees. Im only agree with number One (sorry my english)
I'm agreed
They forgot Bakura vs Marik. Evil vs Evil. I was rooting for Bakura.
You're not the only fan who was rooting for Yami Bakura
That’s my favorite duel in the entire show
Best duel in the entire show.
Yeah,Yami Bakura is a great YGO Villain,
But so is Yami Marik.
And Yami Marik is even more crazier and more scarier than Yami Bakura.
He was basically DBZ Broly if he was a pure evil duelist.
How could you guys not put in the duel when Yugi was against the mind controlled Silent Puppet guy?! That battle was fucking brilliant! XD Slifer the Sky Dragon seemed like an impossible monster to beat with it's ATT and DEF points just getting higher and higher and going "OVER 9000!" (Sorry I just had too. :P) But Yugi gets him trapped into an infinite loop where the guy has to keep drawing cards until he runs out causing him to lose the game. O.o Has their ever been any other battle that ended without someone getting their life points to 0? That duel was truly one of a kind. :D
+Vis Agreed. That duel put the show on another level for me watching as a kid. From good to great. That whole arc was unbelievable....
+Vis Ah youre talking about his duel with Strings
Yes, even before the duel with Strings. Pegasus defeated Kaiba via deck out as well. But I agree the Strings duel was amazing, and at least should've had an honorable mention. Especially when they put Mai vs Tea on there. >.>
Yagaboshi Tea's deck sucks ass so much I hate it lol
+Vis Some of the best duels didn't even make the list. Joey v Valon is my favorite.
Yugi and Joey vs Para and Dox. I love the board game aspect of the fight and seeing the two of them work together to beat twins. Was the first ever fusion Monster between both decks Black Eye Skull Dragon.
"This duel shows that while Yugi has much to learn, he is an expert duelist." *proceeds to summon Kuriboh in attack mode*
Yu-Gi-O's
They're Yu-Gi-Licious!!
+Sean Murphy Alright now where's my f *censored* cking paycheck?
I miss little kiriboh
***** He hasn't hung up his cape just yet. He hasn't put a YGOTAS episode in a few months but he hasn't quit.
+Sean Murphy Screw your comment, I have money!
It not just the lack of videos it's the lack of anything. He doesn't do anything other than make his depression videos and he's made several videos on getting back on his feet but still hasn't.
.Best card game ever created
no that title belongs to Magic: The Gathering.
+Joshua Bradshaw FUK MAGIC POKEMON FTW
+Joshua Bradshaw Magic's not even tactical at all
Hey I was just staiting my opinion no need to get angry
+Paul Hedington 4 your face sucks
Marik vs Mai and Joey vs Mai were both emotional rollercoasters and deserve to be on the list
The duel between Joey and yugi was a pivotal point in my life.
As a Yu-Gi-Oh fan and player I died inside with the way he pronounced "5Ds" T-T
For a moment I thought he was about to say "5 D S nutz" xD
Same ;-;
+Burning
As a YuGiOh fan and player, I'm completely fine with the way he pronounced it. SCREW 5DS!!
***** in both japanese and the dub its not pronounced like it is in the video
+Cool
Riiight...
What about the Dungeon Dice Monsters duel between Yugi and Devlin? That one gets points for being the most creative in the entire series. It was interesting to see how the dice mechanic got worked into the game, and it was also interesting to see Yugi adapt to the different rules. I'm pretty sure it's also the longest-running duel, spanning four episodes.
+ladytanuki still the largest duel ever is Kaiba vs Yugi rematch at duel tower lol
+VixXstazosJOB Also yugi or atem vs Pegasus was like 5 episodes and when yugioh played atem was long too
+ladytanuki so...it's just like duel monsters
+ladytanuki I thought Dartz's was the longest
+ruaridh2k7 Yugi & Kaiba vs. Dartz was 6 I believe tying with Yugi vs. Kaiba in Battle City as the longest duel in both the original mainstream series and franchise as a whole
How is the duel against Kaiba not higher up on the list?! That was one of the most epic duels; 2 Egyptian gods facing off!
As president of KaibaCorp! I declare this invalid!!!
Wrong franchise
@@amyschildgamerlive4519 huh?
@@timeworks6004 why would a pokemon trainer be president of kaiba corp?

It's time to D-D-D-D-D-D-D-D-D-D duel
Its time to D-D-D-D-D-D-Die

No Yugi vs Strings? One of the most glorious wins in the franchise and not even an honorable mention. You should be ashamed.
One of my favorites.
Number 1 brings back painful memories I'm gonna go and cry I'm gonna cry in a corner now * cries*
Right! A part of my childhood ended with that final episode! 😭😭😭😭😭😭

If you didn't watch Yu-Gi-Oh as a kid, then I feel sorry for you
Done
Did
And still watching today.
+Rico Suave I watch it as a kid and now I watching it with my dad and my sister ^.^
+HolsovanUltimate And I will watch it forevah
pray for me bruh, pray for me (i didn't watch it...)
+Rico Suave I watched it as a teen... can you hug me if you feel sorry then XD?
Recently got back into Yu-Gi-Oh. It's still my favorite show of all time. Made me remember my love for Seto Kaiba also.
Yugi vs Arkana was my personal favorite. I still remember when i used to be scared for yugi's life in that duel 😂🤣 Good old days.
I still love Yu-Gi-Oh! to this day. If the entire original 5 seasons were on Netflix instead of just seasons 1 and 2, I would marathon the crap out of it. Call me a nerd or a geek or whatever you want, but I still watch the show when I can (not GX and onwards, just the 2000 series) and even play the card game with my friends. Yes, I'm 20 and still play it, it's a fun game.
go to Hulu they have all 5 seasons
Jadan Flowers I would if Hulu was available in the UK. I'll just have to hope the Netflix here gets all 5 seasons eventually.
21 and still playing yugioh. Nostalgia is always good lmao
Crunchyroll ?
They even have GX and 5ds
It's still fun as shit
Best duel ever for me was Joey vs Valon.
Waking the Dragons was easily one of the best seasons even though that Dartz fight was dumb. Bouncing mirror force off of each knight to make infinite attack? Pffff. Deus Ex Machina. And the ending of the season was cringeworthy as if a writer for Final Fantasy wrote it. Otherwise, it was awesome.
+Cherry Pauper yeah it was mine as well, end to end duel
Waking dragen realy was the best
+barryh97 yea Joey had some good duels in Battle City, his deck was my favorite. I thought the Yugi vs Marik duel got farfetched with Marik fusing with Rah lol
+Cherry Pauper
Not just infinite ATK, but "Infinity times three"...seriously?
The Waking the Dragons Arc was also an anime-original arc that's not in the manga (the manga goes from Battle City to the Memory Arc right after), and the problem is that it throws out questions that never got resolved (like Dartz apparently being present during Atem chasing down Yami Bakura/Zork with Osiris and whatnot).
Most of the Duels were pretty cool though. While Joey vs. Varon was cool strictly in terms of Dueling, the motivations were just lame in that it was really little more than a dick-waving contest between them to see who gets to screw Mai first. Compared to Yugi/Atem and Rafael, or Kaiba and Amelda/Allister, it just felt really weak.
Such an amazing series / card game. I’m almost done with the battle city arc, and I can honestly say Im still glued to the TV,. There’s never a dull moment, which is crazy considering this is a “children’s” show lol
Still can't believe how underrated Bakura V Marik is.
This show is a huge guilty pleasure of mine. Anyone else?
What
White American Male nobody likes the KKK
*NOW THAT'S WHAT I CALL BAIT*
Ahhhhh!!!!!! This was the best trip down memory lane that I've had in a long time!!! ❤️❤️
+AnimeLovinGirlyGirl Do you remember trading Yu-Gi-Oh! cards at school?
+AnimeLovinGirlyGirl me too now i have to watch again all of them and i found it only to see it all
+Stephen Mc Devitt yep still have some of my old cards.
yepp, soo good
+AnimeLovinGirlyGirl Me too.
Yugi vs Atem was so great. Atem is by far my favorite character.

@@danieloleszek4280 no way
@@danieloleszek4280 its a joke because they always say what pot of greed does. This proves youve never watched or played yugioh
LOL I’m glad they reiterated what it does so dramatically.
My favorite is the the Joey & Yugi vs the 5 dudes that are in Tristains body.
If you don't know what you are talking about it sounds like. A 5 on 1 Guy porno
Edwin Vanderhaeghen Lol true.
+300fusionfall You mean the Big 5 with their 5 Headed Dragon?
The Shaddoll Puppeteer - Nephilim Yes that one
+300fusionfall I like that too my favorite is yugi and kaiba vs lumis and umbra the duel on top of the skyscraper
Yugi vs Kaiba on the roof of Pegusas' castle at Dueling Kingdom should be mentioned, better than Tea vs Mai, which wasn't even a real duel. Also the battle with PAIN at Duelist Kingdom could be mentioned, with a good life lesson about standing up to bullies and confronting your fears.
+Morgan Violet Hart you mean panic?
+kewlaldo10 Yeah I did mean PANIC, but for some reason I think I confused him with an actual anime villain named pain. Hmmmm...?
Pain from naruto?
My guess is they were trying to avoid bringing back memories of that duel due to the sheer awfulness that was Kaiba vs Yugi at Duelist Kingdom.
Tea vs. Mai was a real duel.
Pegasus is soooo corny 😂
Pegasus - “ yugi boy”
Me - “😂😂😂😂”
how isnt yugi vs strings not on this list??
This channel is going to the shadow realm
+Ca110fSt3v3 wait wait wait the Yami bakura version or the cheap knock off we got in GX?
Bakura
IGNORE ME!!!
+Ca110fSt3v3 That's why I though he belonged on the list. It's always Win or Lose your soul with him. Imagine him in Vegas.
+Nigel Trotter Vegas does that already
yugi vs strings (slave that uses Slifer)
Juan Sandoval Great duel
@Ba Ki The first moment a (real) antagonist showcased his god-card. It definitely deserved to be here over that redundant Tea vs Mai duel.
That loop Atem trapped him in was amazing
Great combo. But that's one of the illegal shit yugi has done
Yugi made slifer his bitch lolol.
I really missed Joey vs Valon... that was a more than amazing battle, very underrated
I agree. It showed us how strong and far Joey had come as a duelist.
I love all of these! Battle city is my childhood

How the hell is Joey v Marik higher on the list than Yugi v Kaiba in the semi finals?! Those last 2 minutes of that monumental duel were iconic
No need for the GX and other Yugioh edtions, the first one is still the best. 👍
YEAH GX IT OKAY BIT BORING SOMETIME PLOT HOLES EVERYWHERE SHITY DIEOLOG BUT THEN 5D AND ON IS TOTAL TRASH LIKE I CANT WATCH IT TOO CRINGE AND TRASH BORING AF THE FIRST YUGIOH HAD SOMETHING SPECIAL THEN THEY JUST RECANED IT OVER AND OVER AGIN TO DEATH AS SOON AS ATEM MOVED ON I DID AS WELL YUGIOH NEVER BE AS GOOD WITH OUT HIM AND YUGI RIP
Marik vs Joey ohh.. my childhood.
Mehmet Can Kaya If I had to say which Shadow Game was the most intense its definitely Joey vs Marik
@Ronald Matos yup I know right!?
What about yugi vs. kaiba rematch in season 1? That one was intense
The most intense rematch yet! First Kaiba summons his ultimate monster in parts 1 and 2, and then he wipes out Yugi with a Blue Eyes White Dragon! That one was crazy as heck!
Yugi’s first loss.
Kaiba vs. Yugi I and II didnt make this list?
The one where exodia makes his debut and the one where yugi was literally one fell swoop from victory after his deck was decimated with the crush card virus, respectively?
Will you by any chance be doing Top 10 Yu-gi-oh GX Duels as well as 5D?
I'll be looking forward to seeing them when you have the chance.
"The decks give a mix of nostalgia and the unknown future." *shows pot of greed being played* I don't fully know why but I find that absolutely hilarious
If only pokemon TCG were this epic
+TheGrandRevo IKR XD
We'll take our chances with... Pokemon fanboys lmao
What fanboy? You that that ten year old?
+TheGrandRevo I play the magic card Pokeball! This allows me to summon any pokemon monster from my hand or deck!
Fox Dragon "Quick ban it! It's too broken!"-Konami
Yugi vs Kaiba in battle city should have been #1
Yes
I loved this show when I was younger. Looking back, it was 7 minutes of dueling and 23 minutes of backstory about a duelist we'd no longer care about
Never has a card game been so epic.
What about the duel of Atem vs. Strings? That winning card combo that won Yugi Slifer the sky dragon.
That one was insane
I also loved Joey vs Amelda( I think his name in the dub was Alister?). It was really action packed. And also Atem vs The Puppet guy controled by Marik. I think the way he beat Osiris was really clever...
One of my favorites that I'm sad that isn't even on here is the one in Waking the Dragons with Atem/Yami Yugi against Weevil Underwood. The moment at the end where Weevil snaps the card that he says contains Yugi's soul to Atem using Breaker to decimate him in a rage is just stunning (in English or Japanese)
Where is Joey vs Valon? That duel was like DBZ mixed with Yugioh
+Fock GooglePlus that duel sucked lol
Nope
Wasn't really dbz like, they were just battling with power armor which a lot of Japanese heroes (like super sentai/power rangers & kamen rider) use. If anything I think it was supposed be more like a mecha reference since it had a lot of rocket fists.
Ikr it was awesome
10 I have to watch that duel.
09 This one was excellent! I loved how this one played out
08 That was when Joey was starting to believe in himself
07 I liked watching their duels. I wonder how many episodes they made covering that duel. It's always great to see how they keep the excitement right when you think it's curtains
06 To see him come so far was spectacular
05 I remember this one, I should watch this again
04 This was a very intense battle
03 An awesome villain!
02 Mmmm...he was one of the best villains
HM 1 I loved this match, it was great to see how they challenged eachother 2 I gotta see that one 3 Oh...one of the greatest ones standing for its ideals 4 Idk which one that was
01 I love love loved how they did this one! This was just a fitting one!
Now that I think about, why didn't they use Mai's perfume trick against Pegasus......he wouldn't know the card.
I know right that would have made a good strategy, but wouldn’t he still be able to read their minds after they smelled the perfume.
AndreNitro X1000 true
Pegasus can read minds...
If you sprayed a strawberry scent on the winged dragon of ra and drew it. Then proceeded to sniff it. Your brain would have to process that information. All of which Pegasus would have read
Whenever I hear that starting theme I got those goosebumps and it feels I’m back in my childhood.
#10: before Kaiba drop dead in the duel with Darth, the original script in Japanese is actually "now step on my corpse and march toward victory!"
All I remember from Kaiba's duel against Zigfried is after Zigfried used a card effect to see what was at the top of Kaiba deck and then playing a card that rewarded him for guessing the top card of his opponent's deck Kaiba replied "Gee, how'd you guess."
The last one had me at bay of tears. It was sad but I had felt happy for Yugi because he had became the original king of games.
um...Joey vs Valon?

Yes yes yes watchmojo finale did this video.
Next video Top 10 Yu-Gi-Oh GX Battles.
+WatchMojo.com reads no Gx or 5ds what about Zexal and Arc-V
+Marcos Acosta Don't you mean "finally"?
+mmicb0b They suck!
Great list! Atem vs Yugi was definitely the best. Though I would have put Yugi vs Bakura in the list
atem just explained how lot of greed works on the final duel. very informative
Why not Joey vs Valon! tf
I have that battle in my top 5! And it wasn't even mention in the video!! Wtf Watchmojo? 😂
I agree, that's such an underrated duel
I exept that be in top 3!
totally true. and what about the first yugi vs kaiba duel with Exodia
That duel was trash
#4 against Raphael, I think that was the darkest duel in the series, not just that arc. I was genuinely shock when I first saw that duel.
8:14 Marik laugh as a loony psychopath and i laugh too because i never see a crazy dude like him....and this face oh my god
excellent work as i excepted
top 3 favourite duels
1. Yugi vs Atem
2. Yugi vs Kaiba(Battle city finals)
3. Yugi vs Arkana
Marik arc was so good
My personal favorite was Joey(Marik)/Yugi-Battle City because of the emotional story behind it...a close second would be Yugi(Atem)/Rafael-Waking the Dragons because it was intense watching Yugi lose!
+pamusicman2 Yeah if he didn't collapse at the last second he would have won same with Kaiba's duel with Noah since Kaiba would have won if Noah wasn't hiding behind Mokuba
+pamusicman2
Actually, Ra didn't have any ATK at that point. It was simply using its God Phoenix effect that can destroy and remove from play 1 monster on the field, but obviously, because it's the strongest of the Egyptian God Cards (and subsequently the strongest card in the whole main canon story), feeling that kind of power through your monster being incinerated by a divine flame would be hugely painful all the same.
+HalfDemonInuyasha Dartz infinite attack snake is stronger than Ra
+aw454wtr
God of Serpent / "Divine Serpent Geh" is only stronger than Ra in terms of pure ATK, but Ra's effects makes him far more powerful and versatile (not to mention Ra is far easier to Summon).
Aside from the infinite ATK, and keeping the user from losing despite having 0 LP, (which also comes at the cost of having to send your hand to the Graveyard and pay all your LP just to Summon and sending the top 10 cards of your Deck to the Graveyard to declare an attack with it, meaning you'll only have, at most, 5 attacks, with a 60 card Deck (minus Serpent, that's 59 cards, so 50 cards sent for 5 attacks, but most people use 40 card Decks, so that leaves only 3 attacks at best), then God of Serpent literally has no other abilities, not even any effects that can protect itself, and with no hand initially, you'll be even harder pressed to protect it.
A single God Phoenix effect by Ra would destroy it, causing the user to lose instantly. God of Serpent is pretty much a last resort monster.
HalfDemonInuyasha True but if you did have Ra on the field and your opponent summoned Divine Serpent then unless you had some trap cards to protect Ra he'll be going down before he can remove serpent from play although can trap cards like "Negate Attack" or "Draining Shield" even be used against Divine Serpent?
I need to say this and I think all the original Yugioh players will agree with me...these new Yu-Gi-Oh cards like pendulum monsters XYZ monsters and Synchro monsters have changed the game that I know and love. The original Yu-Gi-Oh game with just normal monsters effect monsters fusion monsters ritual monsters spell and trap cards made the game competitive and strategic you had to be smart and had to put your heart into your deck to know how to beat another player through pure skill and a little bit of luck then they came out with Synchro summon monsters and for those of us who were part of the original game were a little annoyed at first but could learn to live with it as you could still beat a Synchro deck with your original deck that had no synchros in it. But after that then XYZ monsters came out and even though an old deck could still beat a XYZ/synchro deck it became less Yu-Gi-Oh and more of an entirely new and different game. But now that these pendulum monsters are out it is just stupid and all the original aspects of the game are not even playable due to the fact that people can swarm the field with five monsters at once and that is not how Yu-Gi-Oh was or is supposed to be. Listen synchro, and more so XYZ started to piss me off but at pendulum I draw the line it's not Yu-Gi-Oh anymore and I don't care what tournaments do or say I'm going to play with my original deck and pretend like XYZ and pendulum monsters don't exist even (though I prefer to have it the original way I like synchro monsters to some degree so I can live with them but the rest is bull). They should have stopped at synchros. YOU DONT NEED NEW MONSTER TYPE CARDS TO HAVE A NEW SHOW. GX was awesome and stayed with the original game. Rant over. Does anyone agree with me?
James Klaus Cosentino agree
definitely agree. I liked it when synchros came out , xyz I didn't care for but was tolerable ,but pendulums confuse the fuck out of me. if I'm in a tournament and I go against pendulums I go straight to scoop phase cuz it's not even fun to duel against them
STFU synchros were great. Yu -Gi - Oh , Yu -Gi - Oh GX, and 5ds were all great, everything after that was shit though
James Klaus Cosentino I totally agree when I was little I used to think yugioh was life the GX and 5d came out and I was like I need a new anime with a TCG #yugioh and Pokemon =life
James Klaus Cosentino it's different but it isn't bad
the duel between Tea and Mai is one of my favorites
This list was actually one of the few good ones imo.
