- In response to AmbassadorSnaf who wanted some city drive through video, I have decided to post this entire un-edited footage that I took last Thursday afternoon 12th November 2009 rather than delete it. There isn't much and some of you will have already seen most of it, however there are a couple of bits that had been cut out of my previous two Manchester videos. So, in this video you see more of the G-Mex centre, more trams, and a little more street footage.
I was 6 when this was made.
The little things like the tunes on the radio and the vehicles most commonly in use really give me a good vision of 11 years ago.
Thanks for being my passenger Andy, I prefer open road myself to city driving, too much stop / start and gear changing.

Thanks, glad you liked it. There is a hell of a lot more to Manchester though than what I have shown here, its a very vibrant city, well worth a look maybe one day... :-)

Hello Ben, glad you liked it, well it was your idea... :-)) I would normally have used most of this footage, but I used a fair amount coming up the motorway, It has to be balanced out really, plus I prefer my vids to be around the 4-5 min in length, give or take. I use a Panasonic HD camcorder and try to fix it in position on dash as solid as I can, mine picks up vibration at times, choose Pos'n for best clear shots. Its all trial and error. The rest is in editing out the crap. Good luck.

It was the road being closed that threw me, had to go back round the way I came in, all extra miles and time and all that, you know how it goes.... Thanks for watching and rating. Paul

Yes unfortunately you did, no she was taking me the right way, except the road ahead was closed as you can see, my destination was just up that closed road and turn right, hey presto!!, but no I ended up going back the way I had just come.
I was cursing at the time.... ha ha

Ha ha.. I can imagine, that would so annoy me, I'd end up in slanging matches in the street... ha ha. My destination was just down that closed road, and turn right. I ended up going back to where I'd just come from... Grrr Im more surprised I only said "Shit" ha ha I must have been in a chilled mood. :-)
