I’ve definitely been there with blue bags. As much as I love blue and wear it a lot, even in shoes. I just struggle with wearing a bag in blue. Even if it goes extremely well with my outfit, I always gravitate towards another bag that to me, looks better with what I’m wearing.
This video gave me more motivation to get the LV Zippy wallet. It fits my lifestyle.
Been eyeing the lady Dior and capucines so happy to hear your feedback on them. I feel the classic flap will work for you. Specially with like whites and khakis for spring and summer.
I’ve also always pined over the Cartier single diamond necklace, and was never able to pull the trigger, but then bought the Monica Vinader one, and absolutely love it. Dainty, but not so dainty that I’m worried about breaking it.

Sorry you had regrets. I love my Cartier diamond pendant, but I like the daintiness of the stone. To each their own. I have had a few contemporary brand types of pendants but they just didn’t do it for me. Looking forward to your vlog sale!

Aaaah serious bag envy for the Capucines. I tried on that bag when the PM model was still available and retail price was around £2500. I cannot bring myself to pay more than double that now. Part of me regrets not picking it up then but have had my doubts about the wear and tear. So happy it’s working out for you!
Oh same! I was always planning on buying new and then the prices kept going up and up. I'd see sooo much wear on the preloved ones I saw around that I just couldn't do it. 100% happy with it preloved but I don't think I'd pay full price for it 🙈

With the pale champagne hardware (I think yours is?) works so great in my eyes. If you ever consider letting go of that particular Chanel CF you mentioned, I’d be very interested as I don’t own any Chanel items yet (just toooo expensive!! 😩), even though I always enjoy watching your Chanel collection 😊 have a great week!

I own the Fendi Peekaboo in the Mini size in the grained leather and it's roomy and comfortable as a crossbody bag. Not too bulky.

I’m not surprised the peekaboo petite didn’t work out. The petite size looks beautiful but it’s not practical at all. I have a mini peekaboo and it works for me, and I love it. Anything smaller would be too small.
Something shady about that Chanel story. "Oh, your bag will only be in stock tomorrow...when it'll be hundreds of dollars more expensive but we won't warn you in advance, whoops!" They absolutely had that bag in the back when you first went in; they just hoped that someone coming in for a black classic flap would want it so much that they're willing to pay significantly more the next day.

Amie I take all of my designer preloved bags to our “San Antonio Shoe Repair” shop and there they machine polish all of my designer shoes and bags and they completely do an amazing job because they are machine polished. They have told me the machine can do a good job as long as the scratches are not too deep, so I will not buy a bag based upon that. I hope this helps you. Congratulations on the beautiful bag. In case you want to try again the Fendi iconic mini is a great size. Fits a good bit but not too big. Works great as a cross body.
As in from the peekaboo line? Or a different bag entirely? There are so many peekaboo sizes, I get so confused haha
@@ChaseAmie yes the peekaboo line 🤓. Most of the peekaboos now are in the ICU style with sharp edges but the iconic style has softer sides and in the mini is generously sized!

Hi Amie, I have the exact capucine BB like yours and the exact white small peekaboo iseeu that you showed. As for the mini peekaboo, mine is also in selleria leather but just not with the thick stitching :). The mini peekaboo is definitely the one size bigger than your petite peekaboo. It’s the perfect mini size! However, if you like the size of the capucine then you could go for the small peekaboo iseeu. Hope this helps.

@@ChaseAmie Oh my, my favorite right now is the small iseeu because it’s my newest of the 3 and it literally was my dream combo on a peekaboo! After owning the brown mini peekaboo in 2022, I instantly fell in love and started dreaming of another one. I WISHED for Fendi to release a creamy white color with gold hardware in selleria leather (I’m not a fan of the egg/stark white in nappa leather). I just got this in Feb during a trip in Taiwan. I had no idea that this was coming. Apparently the release date was March but after sharing my dream peekaboo with the SA, he excitedly showed me the bag and said that they will gladly sell it to me in advance since it’s my dream bag!
However, size wise I love the mini peekaboo because it’s more fun to carry, less structured so more casual and it’s the best of the 3 as crossbody. The small iseeu and capucine looks more serious but I love how elegant it makes me feel when I’m carrying them. I don’t think that they’re too similar that I ignore my capucine now. I’m happy to have both. They’re like sisters with different personalities but the capucine is definitely the older sister LOL. I suggest you bring your capucine with you when you visit Fendi. I think you’ll know what’s best for you when they’re side by side but I have a strong feeling that you will get the mini first 😊

It's not a super light bag but it's also not particularly large which limits the weight. For me, not an issue at all but I guess if you filled it completely full, you might begin to feel the weight a bit!

I have the same Chanel navy flap bag and also cannot style it within my wardrobe either. I wear a lot of classic such as white, navy, black, gray and beige, but still do not find it easy to style.

Amie, the shiny finish on a leather you mentioned on chanel bags is basically a resin or plastic finish. It isn't really leather when you're referring to the shiny coating. The leather you have on your Dior bag is much better, it's what high quality leather should be, minimal plastic coating on top so you can feel the organic texture and have it age naturally over time.
You can see how thick the plastic layers on chanel caviars are if you watch the viral deconstruction videos. I personally love the duller natural leather especially for darker colours as they smoothen and soften so beautifully over time.

Sorry your classic flap did not work out. Question, I have a med classic flap in caviar but thinking about letting it go for small size instead. Do you like lambskin over caviar? I’m torn between the caviar or lambskin. Thanks.
For me personally, I wouldn't do a lambskin bag in the medium or small sizes again. Lambskin is fine for smaller sizes but generally speaking, the larger the bag (and more surface area), the more wear you'll see if it's lambskin. The mini is the biggest I'll go when it comes to lambskin but that's my own comfort level so it might be different for you! It's really important to me that my bags don't stress me out haha so I prefer caviar for that reason :) xx

Do you have/would you buy a Polene bag?
I have previously owned a couple. I didn't really get on with either. One was my fault - the style I bought was too small. The other one I just found the handle very stiff and uncomfortable and didn't think I'd get the wear out of it. That said, the leather seemed lovely so I'd definitely be open to getting a different style in future!

As a mom of 2, I dont understand why moms change so drastically what they do or have, the baby time is so transitory and then you go back to being how you were before. if you get rid of your things because of a child when you get back on your activities you dont have your things. is the same as putting things away or out of sight bcs a child starts walking, just teach them not to touch, yes is more work but we are trainable. I never removed anything from my living room or other tables. just secure doors and hide knives, the rest if just going to pass. no need to drop all your things, my opinion, based on my own experience. now im using my clutches without issues, same as handheld bags. my time came back.
I actually completely agree with this. Right now, I mostly use crossbody bags or totes with my toddler and the other bags are put away but I still kept everything because I know this time will pass. It's just throwing money away if you have to repurchase later.
They “didn’t have” the bag in stock till the next day when the price was going up?! 🤨 Good for u not buying it. That’s incredibly shady lol
