Appreciate you mentioning the mentality around handling failure.
I see that the men’s sports do a lot more training but it’s more hard in the social life for both sides because you’re so focused on school and driven in the sport you love and nothing is going to stop you from accomplishing something that you want to achieve!

As a walk ons where bad practice I am cut, drop a ball I am cut, forget or get late to my assignment , I am cut, basically walking on a tiny line where fire awaits you if you slip, they live the dream life….
Coach says walk ons though have determination, the type you want to go to war…
This is pretty cool my son is 14 and I take him 4 days a week in the morning for his highschool baseball workouts and honestly my biggest dream and hopes is he makes the team he's really good at baseball and including pitching I hope he continues on in to college. Thanks and good luck to you both.

Right! I played D1 softball in the 90's and started my day 6am-10am at a part time job, went home to shower, classes 1-4pm, gym 430-6pm, dinner, practice 9pm-1130pm. Next day, classes 8am-12pm, lunch, class 2pm-3pm, part time job at night 5pm-9pm. Practice 10pm-1130pm.

It’s be 25 years since I played baseball in college. Crazy how it is basically the same! This was my life exactly. Only difference is I had class 8 to 9:50 and 10 to 11:50 m-th no class Friday. Practice 12-5 extra hitting after practice.
