What happened with thief is one of the reasons why I slowed down on buying cards. Saving for the holidays just makes more sense too, but noticing ridiculous prices makes things not worth it.

I didn't realize just how widespread this problem was getting until recently. I was building a Winota, Joiner of Forces deck for a friend, and I was almost charged $20 for Goldnight Commander (usually 50¢) when I optimized my cart. I'm considering switching over to Card Kingdom for most of my purchases these days
