    Wow. This stuff is useful when starting a business. Most people don't become business owners, they become employees. That's the reason people find math to be useless in the future. If you want to be financially free, and earn loads of money after high school, look into e-commerce and make sure to pay attention in all of your algebra classes. I'm a recent graduate and am using this formula to determine the highest price I can charge for my products without losing customers.

    Square root of 25 is 5 so how did you get (x-5) near the end

      The -10 is a result of -5-5, and when -5 and -5 multiplied, they result in positive 25, which is the same as 5*5.

    Instead of completing the square; why not just take -b/2a; get 5 and throw it back into: -100x^2.......? Txx

      No the max revenue is 62,500. 2,500 is the amount of wigs sold to get the max revenue.
