  • This is our second review of KORE Essentials belts. KORE sent us these belts for review. Prior to this, we have paid for all our KORE belts and we have worn KORE belts almost exclusively for close to two years.
    The Garrison belts are 1 3/4" wide, compared to the 1 1/2" width of their gun belts. The Garrison belts are also stiffer and will carry more weight. Great when you need to carry more weight for range work, or for casual or dress slacks that will accommodate a wider belt, or when you just want a belt that supports your EDC items with a little more comfort.
    KORE Garrison Belts (1.75" wide) are the best-fitting, most comfortable gun belts you will ever wear. Hidden, virtually indestructible track system sewn into the back of the belt creates 40+ size points. Now you can adjust your EDC belt in 1/4" increments. Top-Grain leather or tactical nylon web belt with reinforced Power-Core offers superior support and flexibility. Perfect for IWB, OWB, or AIWB concealed EDC. One year warranty and 30-day monty back guarantee.

    Love this wider belt, have been using it everyday since I bought it in Oct. I love how sturdy it is, it makes my old pants feel like new, no more sagging. I recommend Kore gear if you need serious gun belt.

    I began the year with a Blue Alpha, which I still like, but I bought a Kore for myself in the spring, and when my wife saw it she wanted one as well. I wear mine every day, with and without a concealed firearm.

      Mark, I haven't found a reason to wear anything other than a KORE for a while. Thanks for watching.

    I've been using the gray kore garrison belt for over 2 months now and it's a sold piece of gear. Well made, sturdy and stiff enough for EDC, but not so stiff you cannot manage/wear it comfortably. I carry a Glock19 with Streamlight TLR, a 17rd reload and my Surefire GSX and everything stays in place and doesn't create any sag. I've also used for my Glock 17 with Streamlight TLR and Trijicon RMR along with 2 reloads, a TQ, and my GSX... No issues. I am thinking about buying another.

    I've got 4 Lore EDC 1 1/2 inch belts but now I want a Garrison 1 3/4 inch belt in OD green or Grey . Thanks for sharing your experience with the Garrison line.

    Rider Kore is my belt of preference also for everything you mentioned and when you use the urinal you don't have to unbuckle just loosen, so you can keep you rig in tac. Big help.

    I have several kore tactical belts (black & green) and you just can not do any better with the way these belts fit with that trac and the quality is unparralled and the stiffness is perfect for my glock, it is a win all around. Nice review.

    Appreciate the thorough review and HONEST Opinion's... Satisfied with my traditional leather gun belts, BUT looking to up the ante a bit for the better size increment option of the KORE Essentials line ';-) thanks

      Conquest, for me the selling point is having a reliable, quality belt that I can easily and quickly adjust in or out in 1/4" increments.

    Recently got my 2nd edc gun belt from Kore. Very nice quality and of course the prime zip function is a dream. I got the big star buckle thats suitable for a Texan like me ;] great gun belt and perfect for carrying my dan wesson 1911s

    Looks like the 1.75 will work just fine as a regular day to day belt. I'm currently using the Ciguera Emissary belt.

    • @RidersRange
      @RidersRange  Před 3 lety

      JS2000, I use the 1.75 when I am carrying a holster that will fit, but most of my current bucket of holsters won't work with anything larger than 1.5. The Ciguera Emissary belt looks like a sturdy belt, but I'm spoiled by the quick, easy 1/4" adjustments of the KORE.

    May I ask you if you have any additional feedback or criticisms for the Leather Garrison since some time has passed? Im thinking about getting it especially since its 1 3/4". They also iclude an option to add a belt onto your order for an extra $40 bucks. What do you think about that?

    • @RidersRange
      @RidersRange  Před rokem

      I have done the belt add on a couple times. The only issue is swapping buckles. I'd rather pay a little extra for a complete belt. as to the leather Garrison belt, like all KORE belts, mine has been outstanding. I'm guessing it will out last me.

    • @RidersRange
      @RidersRange  Před 2 lety

      The 1 3/4" Garrison belt fits through the belt loops on my Levi’s, but it is snug. However, it fits great on my 5.11 jeans.
