Once the Huang and Zheng go all out. Only the Thai pair and the other young chinese pair can match them. Japanese pair unfortunately just not able to keep up with the pace.

I love arisa and yuta pair for the energy and synergy, but i feel arisa is definitely the weaker link in the pair. HYQ in comparison is as much of a monster as ZSW.
Maybe a minor thing but Higashino always uses jump smashes whenever she is in an attacking position. To me, it is an inefficient choice because the females are usually frontcourt players so they need to immediately rush up the net to allow the males to draw back and attack. By exploiting the jump, Higashino often loses her position when the opponents counter her smashes and, as a result, can't engage the net fast enough to cover Watanabe. Not sure why the Japanese coaches don't prevent her from playing such a playstyle against the number 1 pair, though...?

Too bad for Japan, it was 0 for 3 finals in this England Open. Japan lost the finals in the Women's Double, Women's Single and Mixed Double to Korea, Spain and China, respectively. The Japanese pair was thoroughly outclassed by the Chinese pair in this Mixed Double match.

Even without the errors, the way Chinese pair plays is just way better. They are the stronger and more dynamic couple. Strong in attack and defense.

higashino and watanabe played so ordinary. They cannot win from this chinese pair if keep playing like that. No competition whatsoever.
zheng si wei and huang was simply too extraordinary. I wanted the Japanese to win but the level that the Chinese pair played at I doubt any one could win them

I would say Watanabe never plays ordinary.
@@nahtesabThat's not true. All players have those games where they play "ordinary". In this game, Watanabe was playing so defensive - all high lifts to Zheng. He rarely does that because Watanabe is an attacking player himself. And at the very least, playing counter-defensive. Never full on defensive as in this case. He was forced into it because the Chinese wouldn't stop attacking. The Chinese basically forced him to play ordinary.

Chinese pair sure win. Previously Japanese pair can compete with them. Now Higgas declined a lot, even although Watan is smart. One can not play with two. Higgas is not aggressive and responsive, just return shuttle. No eye see in this Japanese pair.

So many Chinese spectators there this week, more than 50% of the total, that's why it felt like she was playing at home. I notice that they ONLY applaud when the Chinese win a point, even when it's an unforced error from their opponents. They never applaud at the end of a great rally if the non-Chinese players win it. They have a very strange attitude, not pleasant at all. Well done to Zheng and Huang, I like them both, a great pair, seem like pleasant people.

Totally different kind of shouting. Shouting during smash helps getting the energy out while also it can scare the opponents. It also can be used during a fake smash. Almost everyone does it. Carolina marin’s shoutings are pure annoyance. She screams everytime she wins a point like in a disrespectful way, not during a smash or anything.
This is the first time i see someone complains shouting during smash. Lol
