Is all about there life cycle.
The yellow-footed green pigeon (Treron phoenicoptera), also known as yellow-legged green pigeon, is a common species of green pigeon found in the Indian subcontinent. It is the state bird of Maharashtra.[2][3] In Marathi it is called Hola or Hariyal. The species feeds on fruit, including many species of Ficus. They forage in flocks. In the early morning they are often seen sunning on the tops of emergent trees in dense forest areas. They especially are found sitting in couples on tree branches

Can you please tell these type of food from where I can purchase and also tell the name of all food.
Just because He has been having only banana and I guess he wants to change his taste btw me also want to change his diet..
So plz suggest the proper food I can give him
inner soft side of vagies , different fruits, figs , better to serve banana and wild fig during feeding period. later you can serve varieties f food like soft side of vagies different fruits, paratha , roti and soaked seeds
but not at this stage let it be full weaned .

First serving should be Banana always.
Very good videography, like to know what is the red color food u have given to them, most probably it is some kind of cherry . Is this "ber" in hindi or some thing else. I like to know because we have rescued two baby and most probably they r 30 days old at present.

I fed him pomegranate by holding his mouth then he eat but see a little Change in his dung

You should serve it bananein tree fig, this is most favorite of the..
to change color in its dunk is a normal thing by different type of food .
you can also serve it small pieces of banana..
they are basically fig eater .. but in captivity mostly people serve them banana ,.

I have one in the house, it flew to me and without it flying. So took to the house, the bird is now staying with me for 5 months now it only eat banana.
You can also serve some other Soft food too.

You look expert in birds. Although mine is not yellow footed but rather similar. Rescued a pink-neck green pigeon female. I would like to seek for your advice.
1. She’s not vocal, hadn’t make any noise.
2. She only eats passion fruit didn’t eat other fruits I gave cut to small pieces or bird food mixed nuts and seeds.
3. She grinds her beak, what it means?
4. She moves her mouth when in my presence.
5.Don’t really consume her food in front of people. Only saw her eat in front of me once.
Would appreciate so much if you could clear my questions.🙏🏻

1- She dont vocal because she is wild. this may take time to sound.
2- yes in wid they like any of fruits specially figs.
you may serve her grapes, soaked black peas , hard boiled egg if she likes that.
3- i need that video if possible.
4- may be she is waiting for food by seeing you..
5- because of wild.
you can sit infront of her for few days in every servings, till she pick her first bite. then by time she will get used to by picking her food infront of you.

After caring for her about a week I do see some changes but also have some more questions if you don’t mind.☺️
1. She do eat in front of people but only me haha what does that means?
2. I try to change her diet a little by serving other fruits but i suspect that she might not have learn how to chew a even small pieces of food.
3. When the night fall her pupils shrink smaller for the black and iris is orange. To be frank it look a little fierce and stranger to me. Is she on an alert or bad dream. She get startled really easily and keep flapping wings needed to cool down and back to sleep mode during this eye change.
4. One day she suddenly called twice with pink neck pigeon own unique voices
Is not the coo. What does that means?
And only I hear that.

You may have to hand feed for sometime
If required please open his beak and put tha banana slide in, he will swallow.

Brother it is usless to pair them with local pigeons . First of all would be so much challenging to pair them up.
