Rita, you have such a beautiful , beautiful voice. I never heard an off note! And the accent when you are singing in English is so captivating !!!!!!!!!!

Rita does it again. Great vocal and trombone solo . The band orchestration is outstanding. Joan has the young musicians at the top of their performance. Scott does a smooth tenor sax solo.

Ever since I heard your Name on CZcams Joan, I have been listening to you and your Young students and I am blown away by their professionalism.It is funny to see some older Videos of Andrea, Magali, Eva and Rita. They must have been with your band and Musical School for quite some time: ) because on some Videos they are as Little as 8 to 10 I would guess. I love this song also because of the lyrics. The saxophone bit sounds just as classy as Med Florys Supersax band from the 70's and 80's. Looking Forward to Hearing more from yourself and the band.

No puc entendre de cap manera que hi hagi tan pocs comentaris en català, i fins i tot els que hi ha en castellà, la major part son de Sudamèrica. Joan, has fet història. I amb tu les personetes meravelloses que has lograt ajuntar i fer que s'enamorin del jazz: Rita, Andrea, Carla, Elia, Magaly, Alba, Abril, Eva, Joana i tots els nois Josep, Joan, tots. Sense oblidar als grans artistes que també us acompanyen, i particularment Ignasi, Esteve i Josep. El jazz català us ha de reconèixer com quelcom extraordinari.
Bueno, Juan Carlos, supongo que hay una explicación lógica para eso: las opiniones en los foros se emiten para que el máximo número de personas las lean y por tanto aporten cosas a más gente, no solo a los que hablan el idioma que te gusta hablar. O así debería ser. Y obviamente una opinión es leída mucho más si es en inglés o castellano que en catalán. De hecho el 95% de los posts en este foro se emiten en esos dos idiomas, aunque la diversidad de nacionalidades de los foreros es mucho más amplia. Si cada uno escribiera solo en su idioma preferente (algunos lo hacéis y es perfectamente respetable, por supuesto) esto sería un galimatías bastante caótico y muy poco útil. Yo, que soy madrileño, he leído la tuya porque he viajado mucho por Cataluña y algo se me ha pegado, pero no veo a un inglés, norteamericano, alemán o finlandés de los que andan por aquí, metiendo un texto en catalán en el traductor del Google. De hecho me consta que varios opinantes habituales catalanes escriben en castellano ó a veces en inglés, por lo que he explicado. Yo mismo escribo en inglés cuando opino en otros foros extranjeros, porque sé que si escribo en castellano no me iba a leer nadie (en catalán ya ni te cuento).
El propio maestro Chamorro tiene muy claro este tema y por eso, siendo catalán (aunque nacido en Cáceres), escribe todas las presentaciones en castellano, para que mucha más gente podamos entenderlas sin recurrir al traductor. Este es un foro de música con seguidores en todo el mundo, pero donde los que más abundamos, seguramente, somos hispano-hablantes. Y hay que actuar en consecuencia, dando las mayores facilidades posibles para comunicarse: Castellano (el idioma de la mayoría) e Inglés (el idioma más universal que casi todo el mundo puede entender).

You Belong to Me is another old song (1952) that has a similar lyric about flying to various destinations. Jo Stafford, Dean Martin, and Frank Sinatra all recorded it. I don't think that SAJB has covered that tune.
