Similar in sound, especially with the accordion to our Bavarian folk music in the quick tempo numbers. Very nice! We of course include an assortment of horns especially the tuba. Maybe I should make a trip to Louisiana and listen to this in person. Rural of course, not New Orleans haha.

SAULIEU , FRANCE. The festival is annual!
The violinist I see her sitting in on many cajun bands in Louisiana.
In New Orleans the headquarters for Cajun music is Mamou, Evangeline Parish (county), Loiusianna.
Best dates is Mardi Gras (New Orleans and Mamou). Here she is doing the Mamou Hot Step at the Augusta Heritage Center in West Virgina.
