Barry, the bassist, went on to be in the excellent Into a Circle with Bee (which they both formed after the disintegration of their band Getting the Fear). Check out his brilliant, almost jazz-funk-like basslines on Into a Circle's 12" EPs and sole LP.
I didn't get the Into a circle link with SDC back when I had just tape copies but still like this era of SDC and the circle stuff is still fantastic - late night driving music for me
Barry is the best! I have some live GTF shows and his playing just blows me away. Check out the demo version of The Girl on Aky's CZcams page. Barry just kills it!
@carnivorecrusher this version was recorded on 4th june 1982 and produced by terry razor. the single version, produced by mick glossop was recorded later and released in december 1982.
@carnivorecrusher yep it was. it was on the compilation cd "gothic rock 2" released in the early nineties. also recorded at the same session was the original moya. it was on "gothic rock 1" you can hear it on my videos aswell.
Entre=between. Preneur=taker. Sounds like the infamous "Middle Man" to me--detested by all! If you call him "Entrepreneur," however, a lot of folk act worshipful. "FatMan" is my favorite name for this character.
