think someone forgot about physics... no matter how many bands you put on a gun the spear only weighs a certain amount could have 4 or 40 bands and itll still have the same velocity just more recoil
??? The more bands, the more tension is created (And therefore more potential energy), so yes it does 100% matter how many bands he puts... if he could put them all equally tensed which is simply not worth it, the speargun would be HUGE. but it's technically possible
@@H2610_ yes but at some point adding more than the optimal band for power gains will not do anything... the mass of the shaft can only be propelled to a maximum speed. all energy after that point will just be transferred into recoil which in turn will only screw up your shot more and not to mention that even if you were to get the spear shaft to its terminal velocity(broad term as it is not a free-falling object) it will buckle and bend while traveling out of the gun, its an occurrence often associated with archers firing too light arrows from an overpowered bow.

Concept is the same for everything unless the energy potential is from a literal explosion in which case it’s a lot easier to keep pushing velocity into something. But then it also loses stability. Which is why in the extreme cases of this physics lesson, being firearms, you have to start spinning the projectile to keep it stable and the heavier or lighter it is you have to spin it at different speeds in order for it to retain any of that velocity as well as stability. This is also observable in just plain air resistance and fall speed tests against mass. Every mass has a peak velocity and acceleration and has a point that it can’t accelerate anymore. If something falling at it’s max speed was forcibly accelerated faster than it’s peak and threshold. Once that impinging force is removed the falling object slows down even though it’s free falling. If we were in outer space you would be correct but the force would also impinge upon you. But no inside of an atmostphere the OP is absolutely on the right train of thought. There is a point where you can keep adding bands but at some point you could add 10 and barely get the extra velocity of ONE and the projectile will drop that speed QUICKLY after launch as well as making it unstable until the velocity falls to a certain maintainable speed. Without knowing the exact dymnamics weight force of the bands. But let’s say 4 bands would be peak for the example. Adding a 5th you might not even notice. Adding 6 might feel like you thought 5 would. Stepping up to 8-9 would then feel like you added one more again. Then you would have to go to 15-20. It gets exponential and multiplicative to force something to go faster than it wants to inside of an environment that resists it moving from its stationary state.
@@H2610_ To launch a SPEAR at its maximum speed, it may seem like a large number of rubber bands is necessary. However, due to the speed limit imposed by a single rubber band, no matter how many are used, it is impossible to surpass the maximum speed achievable by one rubber band. Therefore, having numerous rubber bands is futile.

The song choice bro I just can’t 😂😂
Yea you can you secretly love it
that’s not a speargun, that’s a bloody ballista!
Yeah he wants to one shot 9 tunas
The ridiculousness, the gun, the song, the edit…everything about this is perfect! Well done!
What are you trying to kill? A blue whale???
When you wanna spear fish in the Pacific but you live next to the Atlantic
wait till you see a bluegill speargun
It’s the 5 wraps of huge cable for me 😂
Submarine season is open now, waiting for a prep and cook vid

😂 you just CANT spearfish a tuna WITH a small Spear BECAUSE It Will be broken you Need a big havy metal and big bands too
Why don’t they make spear guns that shoot with blanks anymore?

Is that real? Could you one 180 double inverted roller with 3-4 bands and a few big floats and it’d do the same job lol
Could use one rubber, one rail gun if its Rob Allen and have a far quicker reload time
@@judemitchell9410why my main gun is a RA 110 carbon roller. Taken wahoo Mahi and small tuna on it With the RA drop barb shaft
I see you got the bluegill set up
Great music timing! 💵🦑
realistically would the trigger sear, hold that much power or would it break , if not the trigger pull would be like 2000 pounds
That's why powerheads were invented lol
How tf do you prime that???
Yeah one shot; 20min reload time..
Spari in california e colpisci il pesce in Jamaica
That gun would fold....
You miss and by the time you reload Tuna will be miles away
I have no idea how you can spear a tuna, those things can move a mountain once you hook them
This must be a joke 😂
Its to be used against godzilla
Even 3 bands bro is enough.
Dawm bro u shoot fish in a different country with that kind of power😮
Love the chains 👀🔥
The reload time lol
For real lol
It is even possible to reload that thing by yourself?
Probably not...
Def not😂
That thing could pierce like 5 people
Just get a roller
I believe that gun is WAY under powered, suitable for only the smallest reef fish.
I’m sure that mf can go through a few cars
How does the gun not snap in half😂
Wow nice
Solo per caricarlo ci vogliono 2 ore
Waste of life.
This crazy gun😂
This doesn’t make sense…
What happens when you get spear fished ?
Its a joke y'all.
3 dias pa cargar esa mierda
😂😂😂
F16
😂
❤❤
Thumbs down for crap music
😂😭😭
Music sucks
😂😂😂😂😂😂😂😂😂
Why??? Nobody cares
